I want to bring this to the attention to make you think about further supporting them or not.
Why you ask? Well obviously Dice/EA wanted to put more effort into a trend that has slowly been dying without innovating: Battle Royales. Instead of focusing on the game Battlefield should always have been. There is a reason we lack soooo much content still compared to previous titles, they only put things in that would work in Redsec. The gun balance is arse because it works better in Redsec where engagement distances are longer. Vehicles were never thought of as a driving force just as armor for one team in a Battle royale so they had to be tanky and have a lot of firepower. Now they are finally looking at what battlefield is supposed to be but we still lack so much in terms of content, balancing and gameplay.
We only have two truly big maps where you can get the Battlefield experience, the sandbox fighting without being herded into lanes. We lack gun variety, gadget variety, grenade variety, launchers are barebones things, they never thought about how changing classes would truly impact stuff. The fact there is no choice anymore between ammo or health means less people have to be either a medic or a support and thus more engineers enter the field which on smaller maps just eviscerate any armor that can barely dodge or manouvre. Assault's only redeeeming quality's are the GL and the spawnbeacon which on small maps have barely any use cause you run to the opposite side of the map easily and with so little room to also manouvre as infantry the likelyhood of a spawnbeacon being found is high. Jets have no loadouts cause with how few maps there are where you cab truly diversify your air vehicles' uses there is no need for em. And smh people defend this game like it is the best there is 😔
