How people actually handle interview timing while employed

This question is for people that work full time while actively interview, how do you do it? Do you take pto or take the day off to interview. Usually interviews are somewhere from 20-60 min long so it’s not possible to take it during break.

Please share your experience.

Overdraft fee

I went to Truist page and saw they mentioned that they have no overdraft fees at all. I googled to make sure if this was an exaggeration, it said that they can waive overdraft fees twice a year. So which is true?

Entry level job rejection

So sad to announce that I couldn’t even get the Entry-level aml job. I’m extremely disappointed cuz I heard they take just about anyone. Was really looking forward even though I’ve heard really bad things.

Getting ghosted

Why are recruiters ghosting people? I seriously don’t get it. I took a day off, which cost me money. But they don’t end up responding or join for the interview. I get it life happens and something serious could happen but it’s still so unprofessional. It’s almost like our time doesn’t matter to them.

Why the hell are recruiters doing this. It’s happening too many times now. UGHHHHHHHHH. I’m sorry I just needed to vent out the frustration because it took me 2 days to just prep for a phone call interview because it was my dream job but at the end I got no call and I am just heartbroken. 💔

Any Advice on how to prep for risk analyst role.

Hi everyone,
I have an interview coming up for a risk analyst role. The duties of the Risk Analyst are to support Enterprise Compliance Management’s Anti Money Laundering programs and maintain full compliance with USA PATRIOT Act regulations as stipulated specifically within section 326 of the Customer Identification Program.

If Anyone’s that worked in this position or similar could give me an advice for how to prep for this interview would be really helpful. I have never prepped for a technical interview before so I’m a little confused what to study.

Any advice would be appreciated

Is this a normal behavior from a hiring manager ?

Hi everyone. I recently had an interview with a bank and the interview went really well. At the end they told me that they’ll be honest that the position in this branch is filled and they’re currently looking for someone in a different branch. And I’ll have to interview again in different branch, if I pass the first round.
I passed the first round and went for an interview in the different branch. I found the hiring manager to be very weird. The first interaction was a handshake- she was literally walking in the room as she shook my hand and it was a half handshake. She didn’t even stop. It was a sideways handshake as she was walking to the room.

When we started the interview, she didn’t even know my name. Okay fine- but she didn’t even prep for the interview. She had no notepad to take notes. She literally looked around the room and said, “ oh what else was I gonna ask you” goes “hmmm let’s see uhh so what would you do if blah blah blah “ and she finished the interview in 5 min. Just 5 min. Is this normal? Or has it become normal? This has never happened to me before and hiring managers come very prepared and with notepads.
