I want to build a startup around cultural food — looking for people who want to build it with me 🌍

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been thinking about starting a startup based around culture and food, and I’m looking for people who might be interested in building the idea together.

The idea is pretty simple:

Every culture has a story, and food is one of the best ways to tell that story.

For example, I’m from Madhesh, and if I had to choose one food that represents my culture, I’d choose Thekua. It’s strongly associated with Chhath, and for many people it represents not just a sweet/snack, but the festival, traditions, family, and culture around it.

I want to create something where we can do this for different cultures — finding foods that genuinely represent their traditions, festivals, history and identity, and bringing those foods/stories to a wider audience.

It could eventually become a food brand, platform, marketplace, or something completely different. I'm still figuring that part out

If you're interested, comment your culture/country/region and one food that represents it to you. I'd love to see how many different stories we can collect. ❤️

And if you're genuinely interested in helping build this from the ground up, feel free to DM me. ☺️

My POV on New channels Analysis

After uploading 4 shorts on my channel and not getting views really hurts badly and it might lead me to leave youtube but one thing which i have understood over time is ki if you want it to happen you have to keep going no matter the results because i have seen people from this stage to now, how they are like big creators ... I hope one day i will too become a big creator like them .

🤞🤞 It hurts but still i wanna do it..... Because that's the rule,,,,just do it anyway,,,it will happen oneday....

Med youtuber suggestion

Hey everyone! I need some honest suggestions.

I'm a final-year MBBS student planning to start a YouTube Shorts series based on 1-minute clinical case discussions. The idea is to present a short patient scenario, let viewers think, and then explain the diagnosis and reasoning in a simple, engaging way.

If you were the audience, what would make you watch these videos till the end?

What do you think should be compulsory in every 60-second case discussion? For example:

How should I start each video?

What information should I include (history, examination, investigations, diagnosis, management, clinical pearl, etc.)?

What makes a medical short actually engaging instead of feeling like a mini lecture?

Any creators or formats you think I should learn from?

Common mistakes I should avoid?

I'm looking for genuine advice from fellow medical students because I want to build something that's actually useful and enjoyable to watch. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a Video Editor (Short-form Content)

Hey everyone!

I'm an MBBS student from Nepal, and because of my studies, I'm finding it difficult to keep up with editing consistently.

I'm looking for someone who'd like to edit short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks). Freshers are absolutely welcome! If you're comfortable using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or After Effects, that's more than enough.

I want to be transparent: my channel isn't monetized yet, so I can't offer payment right now but willing to pay some amount. However, once the channel starts earning, I'm committed to giving my editor a fair and generous share of the revenue. I see this as a long-term collaboration rather than free work.

I already have plenty of content ideas and just need someone who enjoys editing and wants to grow together. If you're looking to build your portfolio, gain experience, or be part of a new channel from the beginning, I'd love to connect.

If you're interested, send me a DM with:

- Your editing software (CapCut/Premiere Pro/After Effects)

- Any sample edits (if you have them—no worries if you don't)

- Your time zone and availability

Looking forward to working with someone who's excited to create awesome content together!
