Among the many new features, there is one setting that truly improves your computer’s performance. It reduces system load and brings your machine back to life.

This setting is called Power Saver. Yes — it sounds like a battery feature, but it’s actually part of the power optimization system, not performance optimization. That’s why many people overlook it.

What does Power Saver do? It:

What truly stands out are the animations, the depth of the sprites, the musical design by Robert “RayN” Levay, and several very pleasant surprises. The game includes alternative routes, four different endings, and new bosses.

At its core, this is an expanded and modernized interpretation of the idea behind the original Mighty Final Fight legend — but executed in a new and different way.

After our tests, we can confidently say that the team at Bünser Games (Czech Republic) has done an excellent job. The project is fan‑made, yet the spirit feels completely authentic — simply reimagined in a new reality. And if you want to revisit the classic atmosphere, there is a special mode in the menu that brings back a more traditional arcade‑style feel.

The original project was released as an unfinished version, clearly marked as 7.5 stages, with no plans for completion. Despite this, players enjoyed the gameplay and hoped for a long time that Scarlet would change her mind. That never happened — the project was abandoned and left without an official place for preservation. Over time, Dynamic Edge 7.5 became an iconic name within the OpenBoR community.

Today, however, a new developer — KennaSmoke — appears to have finished what was started. This OpenBoR project has finally reached its full form.

It preserves the original concept, yet expands it into a much fuller and more refined form. The crude, somewhat monotonous brawls from the original Senile Team game are reimagined here with real ambition. You know, I never really thought of Eric’s story from Splatterhouse as actual horror. The game claims to be horror, but to me it always felt more like straight-up action with dudes dressed for Halloween 😂
