Weighted Pull Ups

New to Tactical Barbell, entering Week 3 of Operator OG (just started reading TB3, but already committed to 1-2 blocks of OG Operator).
Cluster is Bench Press, Squat, Weighted Pull Up(2x per week) and Deadlift (1x per week).

When I tested my 1RM WPU, I calculated BW+64 lbs as my 1RM.

Week 1 (5x5@70%) and week 2 (5x5@80%) I have not really had good/real reps on 4&5 of each set. Should i drop my “1RM” weight a bit? Not go up in weight for week 3?

REI Trailgate Cot Mods?

I bought an REI Trailgate Cot (original version) a few years back on clearance. It *just* fits in the 6.3ft truck bed, I like that it provides space for gear beneath and is pretty easy to pack up and store when not in use.

I do have a couple of gripes, my biggest one is the slats are WAY heavier than I think they should be, posting in the ass to set up, and don’t seem to stay in place.

Has anyone replaced the slats with a piece of plywood or something? If so, how did you attach it to the frame? I feel like a piece of plywood, while slightly more difficult to store, would be lighter and easier to set up.

So I got this cool Ancient Mew credit card sticker. Now I can carry this “card” everywhere.

Got told to learn how to cut safely (not really even about his lack of PPE but the lack of a face cut in particular) in comments, replies “I appreciate the chainsaw safety advice but I'm not a professional forester. I'm just a guy cutting firewood like millions of people do every weekend. Nobody I know who cuts wood around their property wears full safety gear. Next time there's a storm and neighbors are cutting trees off houses I'll let you know how many are wearing chainsaw chaps.

But that's not even the point. The point is I'm doing it at all. Both my arms were ripped off in 1992 and reattached. I'm not helpless.

That's what this video is about.”

Clearly didn’t learn his lesson about working safely with dangerous equipment
