Mail day 😁

So comfortable. I was eyeing this one for awhile and ended up getting it in my size before it sold out.

What were sometimes you were genuinely unsettled throughout the series?

I feel like the actual horror aspect of manhunt is often overlooked. When I was starting out as a newcomer, I was really shocked with some of the subject matter and implications in the series. Scariest moments for me in the franchise (In no particular order) are:

Manhunt 2-Episode 3 (self explanatory lol)

Manhunt 1-Scene 7/8 (The part where cash gets jumped at the end of the level, and watches his family get killed was fucking terrifying the first time around/The way his family was set up across the map was so fucking eerie. Especially the lack of clothing on the female members in his family, you can only assume very bad things happened to them before the start of the scene, along with the bruises, cuts and blood on them and the male members.

Manhunt 1-scene 20 (Piggsy. Pigssy and that fucking did at the end lmao)

Manhunt 2-Episode 11 (The entire vibe of the facility and the mind control flashbacks are still so unsettling)

Manhunt 2-Episode 4 (The entire area just feels so dirty. Like there's this dark energy attached to it. And the jumpscare in the window)

Manhunt 2-Episode 2 (Whole level feels like a completely different game. The semi paranormal angle was done so well)

Manhunt 1-Scene 9 (The atmosphere was crazy. Being hunted down by these literal sickos was creepy as hell, along with being responsible for a guy who probably didn't even know what planet he's on.)

Just a gripe I've always had with jak 2

I love the story, and the game very much but it always really fucking bothered me that jak didn't get to kill Barron praxis himself, or at least contribute to his death in some meaningful way. It was literally the first verbally established thing he wanted to do in the series after two years of hell and it was stolen from him by kor. The Barron's death also felt rushed, like they didn't know what else to do with him. My point is, is that the storyline between jak and the Barron shouldn't have ended that way.

What are some intresting manhunt staples?

In my opinion-

  1. Someone or something always needs to speak in your ear at least until the end of the game

  2. You always gotta kill an enemy that's taking a piss

  3. Your first tutorial kill always needs to be some unaware asshole

Raccoon appreciation post

They really fixed the raccoon in this game, it usually steals mutated fruits/plants and if not, mostly brings back rare legendary and above... not to mention getting rid of that 14 minute steal timer. My only gripe I guess, is the animations feel unfinished

Which ending did you like more?

I prefer leo's ending to danny's for the fact that we KNOW he's gonna completely destroy the project now, or at least inflict serious damage internally. With danny, he doesn't really get any payoff that felt significant imo, and I feel like he dies both endings. Whoever David joiner is, he isn't going to live a real life anyways, as I'm sure the project is definitely going to look for signs of leo potentially coming back. Or maybe dr whyte did him a favor and set up his new life under the table.

I wish nothing more, for nonexistense

For some context, I've had a very hard life. I was born into a very horrible home situation, suffered a lot of abuse from my grandfather, and that really stuck with me and still does to this day. I lost all my friends over the quarantine, and our relationships weren't the same because of my anxiety. So I pretty much spent 7 years in isolation alone with my thoughts and demons until college. I had an attempt some months ago and it caused strain in my family, but somehow I bounced back from it. I've also been perpetually grieving the death of my father for years and it's not something I'll ever get over. I made new friends which is good, but they'll never understand the depths of my anguish, as I think that's also what partly made me lose my old ones. I've never been in a relationship, and there's a girl at my job who I liked and had been working up courage to ask out, and we actually have a nice flow going, but I found out she was taken and it only reinforced my own beliefs of my own worthless and pointless. How could I trick myself again into thinking I could be loved?? I feel like every day is groundhog day and I honestly pray for death every single day. There isn't a day that I don't think about my death, and I feel like I'll try again soon but probably won't.

Literally what's the point

Just had a unicorn stolen from me by a scripter, and two of them jumped on it at once. If literal bots just take everything from you, what's the use? Hopefully they iron this out soon...

Scripting and a warning (Stay Safe)

Just had my garden ransacked by bots... somehow my gameplay paused too, which has NEVER happened, so they interfered with my connection. Luckily, I was able to leave before it got too bad. I guess this is like a PSA.. Just stay in private servers or play with friends. Public servers aren't safe right now.

Manhunt 2 first playthrough (Wii version)

Just got the wii version in the mail today, and I've played up to assassination. The wii version is really good so far, and I'm surprised with the brutality. The censor blur doesn't really effect executions too much. My only issue right now is the shooting controls.... harder to aim and fire

If manhunt 3 happened/new features

We all know it's not happening... but if it did, which feature would you want added? Personally, I'd want a 4th execution level just to really push the envelope, and developer creativity. I've always wondered what something past gruesome would look like.

SpongeBob Mesh Back

Just wanted to showcase the cap the best I could 😅 I've had it on ice since release, but idk what to do with it, just seems hard to make fits with. Did anyone else grab this?

Does anyone else experience being treated nicely and poorly by all demographics?

I think it's perception based. Especially when they box you in or struggle to box you in. Most of the time, my experiences with people that aren't mixed are a toss up. I'm usually treated the worst by black people, and 50/50 by whites, but I experience the complete just as much, and it makes navigating people and opening up to people difficult and confusing. Especially when at work. Usually Foreigners are pretty cool though from my experience and are more open minded, but let me know what you all think and if you've gone through or go through this.
