After doom is defeated the tva is restored, everyone’s memories are wiped besides Loki and Steve’s, Loki now runs the TVA the old way (pruning timelines to prevent another incursion war and giving marvel a way to never bring the multiverse up again) Steve now lives in earth 828 (while doom and the fantastic four are now part of the sacred timeline) we see his life with Peggy and his son flash through decades, he’s old Steve again and uses a tempad to travel back to 2023 to make Sam Wilson Captain America, his line “no I don’t think I will” is now a retcon callback to Sam telling Steve that sometime in secret wars, he travels back to the 828 universe and sits on his front porch while peaceful music plays, his eyes close, cut to credits
