Can non South AsianHindus wear bindi?

Hope I flared this correctly, it's my first time posting in this sub.

My question is basically the title. I know about the spiritual meaning of the bindi, and was curious if white people who are Hindu can also wear it without it being considered appropriation?

Thank you!

Tried to come out, didn't go well. Any advice?

Okay so, I've been struggling with my identity for a long time, and after talking to some friends and posting in another forum, I've come to the conclusion that I'm probably a trans boy. More than probably. Almost certainly. It's a lot to process, and I wanted to talk to my mum about it, because she's been here for me through a variety of traumatic events and was supportive when I told her I was bi.

But, it didn't go how I had hoped. She said I looked better in my old girl clothes, that gender was black and white, and that I'd never be anything but a woman. She even compared top surgery to getting a leg removed because you identified as one-legged. She made it clear that she'd never support me going on T because 'it causes permanent changes' and like... that's the point??

Idk what to say. I'm just really hurt and confused and lost as to where to go from here.

Why do I, a cis girl, want to be a boy?

Basically title. I'm an 18yo cis girl, yet I've been having recurring thoughts about wanting to be seen as a boy. I wear a binder and dress more masculine, and every time I hear 'he' in reference to me it gives me butterflies in the best, most exciting way. I don't want a chest, but at the same time I'm scared at the thought of surgery. Can anyone help? I'm confused and anxious.

I feel like a bad alter.

Hi all, Redz here. I've been in front for awhile now, and it's very easy for us, when one alter has fronted for a while, for the rest of the system to go quiet and whoever's in front to not pay them much attention. Well, recently X got upset and voiced her frustration at this, and it really made me realise that I haven't exactly been making an effort to involve and get to know the rest of us lately, which makes me feel like a bad alter. Does anyone have any tips for how to improve communication within the system even when one alter has fronted for quite some time? And has anyone else had this experience?
