How does call work within your team?

At my old company, our work day was specified 7-6 so after 6, you could ask for relief if the call person was available. At my current company, there is no specified workday hours, so someone not on call may be assigned a 3pm case that goes super late. Last week I had a 11am case, scheduled for 5 hours go until 230am. Suddenly our call person is only for add ons, which is very nice when you are on call but very rough when it’s your lucky day to work 16 hours.

Hybrid sport L AWD or trail sport

I’d love some help !
I am an avid outdoors person who definitely drives on dirt roads, and sometimes wish I had high clearance. There are places I can’t go because my old CRV was 2 Wheel drive . The higher clearance and AWD would be awesome but in reality it’s 2-3 x a year and living in California, I don’t need all season tires and I lose leather which I like because it’s so much easier to clean. In reality, my driving is mostly for work, highway miles. But I can get a better deal on it.

Stool sitting

Has anyone figured out how to make a stool comfortable? It kills my upper and lower back, sitting on a stool for a long time. I got up and stretch and do forward and back bends but it’s really starting to bother me. I’ve tried a few different things to make it more comfortable but can’t seem to. Is it crazy to ask to bring a normal chair in if one is available? Seems crazier that our only option is sitting on a stool.

International travel

A friend of mine is getting married in Italy and I feel like my dog is too sensitive for me to leave him for five days! Like he would die of a broken heart. I might actually and I already told her I can’t come, but now I’m starting to think about it and wondering if he could handle it.

Edit - noooo I would never consider taking him. I’m just thinking I shouldn’t go at all! He is so attached to me

I find the vectiv enduris to be a a lot of shoe so I tried the sky summit. It’s super light and I feel so much more nimble running down rocky trails. I also love the mesh upper because my toenails usually bang around against the upper and it’s lot having a super flexible and soft toe ceiling if you will. Are these enough shoe for 100 though? I think I might start in them and just switch to the enduris when I start hiking a lot toward the end. Thoughts?
