How to get the account unblocked?
So basically from what I've seen,
OCD is the most subtle form of mental health issues.
Like if a person has depression, adhd, BPD etc these are kind of visible in their thoughts, faces, actions etc
I've seen people silently enduring OCD.
Like if you make friends with someone who has mental health issues,OCD is the least detectable one acc to me(unless i specifically have knowledge about it)
That's bcuz OCD doesn't require people yelling or lashing out at the opposite person, act frantically etc compared to schizophrenia,BPD etc.
For example if a girl checks whether all 4 handles of a car are locked, sometimes it might seem totally normal.
Only a person with OCD can relate as to why the girl is cumpulsively doing it.
So for people who've silently endured OCD,how's life been?
Do you feel irritated that your OCD is not so noticeable compared to other people's mental health issues?
And due to lack of noticability, nobody willing to help?
Also for women in relationships, how understanding of your OCD is your partner?
Have you hidden your OCD issues with them or are they morally supporting of you?
For people wanting to be in a relationship in future, what kind of understanding about OCD do you secretly desire from a potential partner?
Hello guys,
I can speak about 3 languages.
Kannada,English,Hindi
Kannada,English at C1/C2 levels
Hindi at about B2/C1 levels(Can't write fluent poetry and all,but can have very extended free flowing convos with anyone)
Recieved my basic education, degrees in English only,
And had a few subjects which is studied in Kannada,Hindi also.
I can teach Conversational English,or even with grammar too if you like and would like to learn Russian,Irish if possible
Russian to be more specific.
I tried learning in Covid and kind of drifted away due to stress in academics.
So if you guys can speak any of these languages,
You can let me know.
My IELTS Score overall was 7.5/9 (with 8 bands in 2 areas) if you want to know how competitive my english is.
Basically I'm looking for a language penpal who will teach me conversational level in their language through texts, video calls etc and likewise from my side too.
Along with the language,if possible I would like to learn about your cultures too.
If you're okay with this, you can hmu
So I'm looking for friends who have idea about any of the below topics:
1)Pokemon
2)Chess
3)Languages and Cultures
4)Geopolitics
5)Geography/Travelling
6)Mental health/OCD
7)Current affairs
8)Dark Humour/Satire
9)Scientific research/Discoveries
So I in general can talk about many topics (Any random topic for ex)
However if you feel that you can speak about any of these topics or play chess you can lemme know
Also if you have any serious mental health issues and would like to discuss about it,you can feel free to discuss it(especially OCD)
We can be friends guys.
If you wanna get in touch with me,just comment below your age, gender, country.
And also what topic you would like to discuss about.
We can have some nice deep fruitful discussions.
I'm a guy who thinks deep and sometimes very sarcastic.
So please don't get offended.
I'm a chill dude,so don't overthink much before texting me.
But yeah,if you send a Simple Hi,Hello message,
I will consider it as a "Low effort" text and not reply.
Please put some effort and Introduce yourself with your interests atleast.
I understand that as an introvert, putting energy in a conversation is extremely mentally draining,
But if it's eventually worth it,then why not?
Also,
Please don't be a dry Texter
Don't have enough moisturizer at my house if the Convo becomes too dry from your side
I've spoken to a few people here and offline too,and many are trying to escape the toxicity that comes with AM setup.
Many people here are unemployed or are figuring out what to do,after trying to crack govt exams, crack software interviews etc.
But while they are occupied with it, parents of the people here are forcing them to get married via AM telling them you'll get old,you won't find rishtas if you remain unemployed etc
Many people here are not emotionally, financially, career wise mature/settled enough to actually handle a new partner in life via AM and want to either remain single or continue their existing relationships without knowing when it will end.
So I've seen them trying to do MBA and all just to escape the constant "When will you get married/settle down ?" taunts from their parents, cousins, neighbours etc
Society judges people so much that if you don't fit into the expected societal lopp, you're just a loser who won't make it big in life.
So, have any of you tried this idea and pursue higher education(HE) to escape the dreaded AM setup taunts from parents etc? Or to figure out the next chapter of your life while being uncertain now?
So umm,I've been reading and responding to a few posts, comments on a few subreddits here.
However reading the failure stories here kind of gives me a lot of guilty pleasure.
There are success stories too,but extremely few of them,so I somewhat feel happy reading them too.
Many stories here are quite funny too. Definitely they make me chuckle.
Even I know that in a few years from now, I'll be setting up myself in the AM process and will get rejected badly, left and right by matches who will have ridiculous demands Lmao
Still,I hope that somehow I can get a success story in AM in future(if god's willing and my stars are somehow aligned well)
So yeah,
Many people have various types of guilty pleasures.
Mine is reading failure and success stories, ridiculous demands that come in the r/Arrangedmarriage sub
Let me know your guilty pleasures too,and
Whether it's a good idea or not to reveal these guilty pleasures to your potential AM partner in future.
Just wanna ask,
If you're a girl who's 5'3 and below and if you date a 6ft+ guy,
Won't your neck hurt?
My sister who's shorter than 5ft got married to a 5'7 guy and she complains sometimes that arguing with her husband or just to talk eye to eye,she has to lift her head so much and her neck sometimes hurts badly.
Also, what if the guy has no personality except being 6ft tall?
What if he's extremely toxic and abusive?
Same with guys,
So if a girl is not fair, slim, then won't you date/marry her?
What if being fair and having pretty privilege is the only main aspect of her personality?
What if she's toxic, emotionally unavailable and abusive?
Why don't many people consider things like
1)Emotional Compatibility
2)Mental Compatibility
3)Age Compatibility
5)Alignment of life goals
6)Humour
7)Anger/Stress management
8)Future aspirations of career etc
9)Love language
11)Health status
12)Travel/Location Compatibility
Aren't these important?
Did I say things correctly or am I really missing smth here?
Personally for me,if a person is sapiosexual, that would be really attractive irrespective of she's fair, lean or not.
Again,if that's the only trait that's attractive,then np.
I know though that my preferences are different from rest of the people here,
But yeah,i would like to know your honest opinions
Main idea is that a physical feature of a person's body should not be their entire personality.
Definitely smth more to it should also be there, which one could find attractive in general.
