I was talking to my mom about Elvis and Priscilla and immediately remembered this weird sketch.
Whenever I post or see someone else post a question of where they can buy something, many well-meaning but meddlesome redditors will tell me to make the item myself.
I’m perfectly handy and can sometimes make things myself, but if I’m asking where I can buy something, I have already done the math and made the decision that I’m not going to make it.
I’m very happy for those who like to make things at home and that they can feel successful at it, but I am not in a place in life where I am especially thrifty and don’t mind paying for convenience.
I appreciate the DIY instructions and/or recipes, but it’s usually just not what I’m looking for.
Please save your advice to make something myself if I’m asking where I can buy it. Rant over.
Hello
I’m not looking for sangria that is bottled like real.
Looking for any restaurants that sell pitchers of sangria for takeout that seem a little more homemade
Does anyone know of anywhere? I’m in West Hollywood if it matters.
Thank you!
Hello
I drive with Uber. I’ve tried the other usual suspects, DoorDash, Lyft, GrubHub…
Instacart says it’s not taking new workers in this area
Anyone know of other apps that are accepting new people and are worthwhile?
I’m happy to use your referral code…
Thank you!
