Posting shitty thresh fanart as propaganda to keep him on the game
Make out with him or strangle him with a wire?
I cannot wait two weeks to know, this beta needs to happen soon
The grind is finally over (I can rest)
Y'all, I was literally going to work, playing at work, coming back to sleep, waking up, playing the game, going to work on repeat.
The grind was tiredsome but atlas, got my A2 Messa and I still have a lot of meta jewels in missions and exploration which I will be using for S.Mariam (is she even good for Messa? I been running S.Moko and Yaoling as I don't have any limited 5* support other than Miku)
Motoha, you cannot say something like that!
You already got a girlfriend, what would Tomoko say?
Do y'all think I can get A2 Messa (Already got S.Moko)
I have yet to do exploring of half of the dam palace, haven't done (nor finished) the control room palace and therefore don't have neither their mementos or the start of the next palace done.
Also got basically almost all synergies undone.
Rn I am at A0 and I have secured on the chance banner as I lost it a long time ago to chord (Coming back player)
Will I be able to get him A2 if I lock the fuck in and do everything I have yet in the game to do?
My propaganda for this elimination game is that if Thresh manages to get to at least top 6, I'll finish this horrid WIP that's been killing me for the past two hours
Understanding both poses and whatever bullshit thresh horns are is a pain for a beginner ish artist
Quick question about the character score.
I come from the HSR neighborhood and there the character score in game is very bad, so I wanted to know if I could trust the one in this game or not

I am coming back for Miku and managed to recover my old account, so that's why I have Yusuke but didn't know about this
Go go gadget, Temu Chi-Yu (Masterball Champions Tier/Team in the comments)
Honestly, Mega Pyroar is extremely good and I genuinely do not understand what the level of slander it was getting before.

Not saying it is a meta pokemon, but people were talking of it like it was the Malamar tier of bad for some reason (Btw, this kills without CRIT under the Sun, I ran the calc even against 32 HP Garchomp).

My current team I feel is just lacking a third good attacker because Torkoal is just a HTR check or an Helping Hand bot with Sun so even if Eruption still deals a lot, I feel I need another attacker (Than Garchomp) I'll show the team in the comments so you can give you advice in what to change
Why does Yusuke goes from a decent ish unit in global to meta in CN according to Prywden?
I was checking to see if I should get Makoto or Akihiko as a DPS as someone who's coming back for Miku and noticed Yusuke went from a somewhat mediocre unit to basically meta in CN, why is this? Did he get a buff or is his A3 that good? (I assume it appears as A3 in Prywden because he is eventually becoming a standard banner unit)?
Releasing Grimmsnarl at the same time as Light Clay was a crazy decision
Grimmsnarl have been my favorite pokemon since it released in gen 8 and I am glad new players can experience now "No way it has *Only status move that can counter their strategy*" but I feel bringing it with what might as well be his signature item might have been an error given that it propels him so hard upwards when it comes to support pokemon
How much of a damage difference is between his signature set+bones and Eagle Vonwawc assuming similar stats?
I originally built him with Eagle and Vonwawc because I don't have plans to get his LC + I need to compensate for the lack of attacks because I don't have Tribbie but I started to think and there is a non-zero chance Aventurine SP fixes this problems for me, so I wanted to know if I should get to farm his signature set and bones while giving this current eagle and Vonwawc set to Welt?

He is on crit rate body, speed boots, HP orb and ERR rope if it means anything
It won't happen but please give Miku a persona, is gonna be really funny
Need help finding a video
It was an animation of Jimmy and Curly, I don't remember the name of the song but I remember that it was something "Jimmy is a friend of mine..." Or something along the lines but because I don't remember the title and it was (Comparatively with other ones) somewhat unpopular, it doesn't pop up when I search it in YouTube as Mouthwashing animatic
Hydreigon having fun for a total of one generation before they made up a type to complete counter it:
I actually did this a few weeks ago but forgot to post it here on Sunday
Any recommendations for a third slot for the zero cycle?
Don't say Welt because he actually does worse than RMC because it doesn't let Blade FuA as much

Buffing my favorite fighting type, Grapploct!
First Hydrapple and Grimmsnarl are in my top 3 and now Grapploct is my favorite fighting type, I look like. 12 years old when I been playing since gen 3 😭
Anywho, Grapploct! Not many people know it as it is a fairly unknown pokemon from Gen 8, so let's give it a rundown of what it does.
Grapploct is a mono fighting type with a total BST of 480, with 80/90/80 bulk, 118 attack and 42 speed.
It has the abilities of Technician and Limber.
It's movepool is very lousy with only notably fighting and water moves and... first impression? While also having a unique move called octolock which keeps you on field and reduces both defenses by one stage at the end of the turn for four turns.
Now, this guy has a LOT of problems with it and I plan to address them.
First of all, it should be Water and Fighting instead of mono fighting. There are very few pokemon that live on water that aren't water types and most of them aren't even fishes (Like Dragonair) so I feel it is weird for an octopus pokemon which is know to throw hands with Golisopod in shipwrecks to not be water type, besides, it gives him now a lot of stab to its water types moves.
Now, stats! It is very mediocre at everything and it doesn't have either the movepool or abilities to back up having such a low BST, so we are bumping them to 510 this is the new distribution:
HP: 80
ATK: 138(+20)
DEF: 90
SPA: 70
SPD: 90 (+10)
SPE: 42
Now, we actually can hit somewhat harder and stay on field longer, which it is kinda needed.
Now, abilities, I want to keep a Technician as it has mach and bullet punch and a little something else that you will see in the future but instead of Limber, I think we should give it a new ability which would be called Multi-Fist.
Basically, parental bond but specifically for punching moves only! Which for Grapploct are Bullet Punch, Mach Punch, Ice Punch and Draining Punch "Oh, but then I don't have a real reason to ever run Technician!" Well, now we are going to moves so you understand why we are keeping Technician!
Now it moves! It loses Power-Up Punch because Parental Bond Power-Up Punch duh. Know octolock gets buffed to be a proper attack instead of a debuff because yes, octolock doesn't do damage.
Now, Octolock is a 40 power move with the previously mentioned effects so it can be boosted by Technician, which sounds like a lot but remember, Grapploct is 42 speed, so you can make it drop quite early before you can properly feel the damage from Octolock. But besides this, it will also gain Wave Crash, Recover (Even if you are 100% going to prefer running Draining Punch even in unbuffed Grapploct, I am just adding it because it makes sense to me a octopus would learn Recover) and Rock Blast, so it can have a little bit more coverages than Water and Fighting moves!
These are very heavy buffs but Grapploct genuinely needs stuff like this to get going imo, it is just such a bad pokemon and I love it so much to keep it like that
Buffing Hydrapple even if it doesn't needed it
Normally I buff shitmons, we are talking about Dedenne, Honchkrow and Sandaconda so far, but today I wanna indulge on one of my favorites since it's release, Hydrapple! (disclaimer: I also like the previously mentioned pokemon I have buffed, I am just saying Hydrapple is the only one that isn't dogwater)
As I said, Hydrapple is not a bad pokemon, it has stats and abilities going on with a lot of pokemon that are also not bad only getting only one thing going on. In my opinion the reason why Hydrapple isn't that big of a threat is its typing and movepool, but because it's typing is very thematically tied (Could be argued bug/dragon because the apple isn't really the pokemon but I feel grass/dragon is better thematically, it will stay like that), we'll be only giving a few touch ups to his kit.
First of all, his signature move... No, not Fickle Beam but Syrup Bomb.
For the ones that didn't know Hydrapple had two signature moves, Syrup Bomb is a 60 power special, 90% accuracy grass type move with two unique effects. First one, is the only move in Pokemon that changes depending if the pokemon is shiny or not (I haven't checked in champions but that's how it works in S/V) and second, when it hits the target, it applies the status of Syrup, which lowers speed at the end of the turn.
Syrup Bomb, while interesting has a lot of problems, biggest is that Syrup only affects at the end of the turn, which means you don't get the speed control before the next turn but given it is a CONSTANT effect for the next three turns is what keeps it "balanced" from being probably the best speed control on the game behind tailwind as to remove it you would need to switch, and besides that, because of Hydrapple's horrible speed, you wouldn't have seen it procing before any other pokemon moved anywho like you would with Scarf Electro Web Rotom or just Regieleki.
That being said, it is still a very bad move, this is my version of the new version of Syrup Bomb, which while wouldn't make it much better, it can give it a few niches or
Syrup Bomb: 70 power, 100% accuracy.
The user sets off an explosion of sticky candy syrup, which coats the enemy targets and affects them with Syrup.
Syrup: At the end of the turn, lowers evasion by one stage.
I personally always found weird why Hydrapple's signature ability and move always lowered different stats and because making it what would be essentially better electro web, I decided to double down in Supersweet Syrup niche and make it a constant drop of evasion which would enable to moves such as Hypnosis or Zap Cannon to have 100%. As I said, this just to make the move have a niche isn't of being dogshit, not to make it super good. (Besides, making Supersweet Syrup a speed drop intimidate
At worst, it is just a low power, spread damage move for Hydrapple which it heavily needs, at best you can get some cheeky stuff going on.
Now, that's not the only buff I wanted to give it, there is still a few more things.
First of all, Hydrapple is a fat motherfucker, unless there is any of the types is weak to (Which are a lot of them), it can sit there and take a lot of hits and heal up with Regenerator, so to make it even fatter, I would be giving it Leech Seed (which surprises me it didn't learn it) so it can be obnoxious.
Also, Wide Guard because conceptually it makes sense to me that pokemon that can be many alert at the same time, can protect itself and its allies (Then again, Wide Guard feels less of a thematic move but a move they just kinda give to whoever)
And I also thought about Sleep Powder given it really doesn't have a whole lot of moves to properly use Supersweet Syrup with (Plus, it is a very slow sleep Powder user anywho) but I feel this one would be too much.
So how do we feel about those buffs? Nothing changes or does he becomes better with this new tools?
Really fun interaction I got in Ranked
The enemies had a weird Zard-Y strat with Espathra where they skill swapped drought so it could reactivate in case of rain and it gave Zard-Y speed boost.
Anywho, with that explained, basically I encored Espathra into Skill Swap and it took away my prankster, I resetted by switching out.
Then, when Espathra finished its encore, I encored it away with own prankster but because it was going for a damaging move, skill swap didn't got the priority from prankster so the game didn't count it as prankster, so it was able to use Skill Swap into my Kingambit even if they had Prankster
Also the Venasaur used giga drain because of Encore, disgusting move ngl
Edit: Long story short, Espathra was able to use a status move as a Prankster pokemon against a dark type because it got Encore'd while using a damaging move.
