I've fallen in love with cwru. The campus and everything. I want to attend cwru so bad. But I'm an almost full need international underhrad applicant. Even though I'm applying early decision, I'm worried case wouldn't give me enough aid. Are there any internationals here who got substantial aid that can give me hope? I really really really want to attend case. Please help me.

I'm a prospective international applicant requiring close to full need. I have 1540 SAT, really good essays, recommendations, awards, and ecs. I've come to really love case and would really be happy to attend there. I'm applying ED, I'm really worried I'll either get rejected or not receive enough aid. I want to attend this uni so bad. Finances are the only thing holding me back. Is it even possible for me to attend Case with less than 5k per year contribution?

I'm a prospective international student. What are the chances of winning full tuition awards at case? Have any of y'all won or do you know those who have? I'll like some guidance on this matter. Thank you.

So, the title + how generous is case with need based aid? And also, how is the merit scholarship? I need close to full funding, and I'm planning to apply ED. Will I receive good amount of aid? International students receiving aid, please help me out.

So I'm a total newbie to guitars. I think I'm interested in classical guitars, a lil more than acoustic, because of the tone (I just like them). I'm thinking of buying either the C40 or CX40, since they're the cheapest I can buy as a beginner (because I'm broke). The C40 is cheaper than CX40, but the CX40 has passive pre-amp (I think). It's a bit more expensive than C40.

But the thing is, CX40 is almost the same price as C80. Now should I ditch the preamp and choose the build and sound of C80, or should I prioritise versatility?

Please help me out. I'm deciding in the C range because they are cruelty free as they don't use animal products as far as my sources are right. Please guide me 🙏🏼

I'm an Indian student wanting to apply to Case for fall 27. I'm currently on my gap year, so I will be applying as gap year first year applicant. I need significant fin aid (I will submit the CSS profile)

Case i pretty much what I need. It has the major I want to apply for (Mechanical) and minor in Social Justice.

Since they have everything I need, I plan on applying ED.

What are my chances of getting into crwu as an international seeking signifcant fin aid, who is applying Early Decision?

So I'm an 18M and I want to lecture in schools and colleges in Bengaluru about veganism. I don't really know the process to get permission to do it. I need some contacts into universities like Christ University, and maybe even schools. If anyone can help me out, please do. Also, if anyone can help with recording the lecture, please reach out. So, I'm a 18M from Bengaluru and I'm making a short film on stretch marks. The lead is a girl in college. Besides her, there will be a role as her best friend and also a few more roles such as her mom, a lady she meets in the park, and also the role of a doctor. The pre-production is pretty much complete and selecting a cast and shooting is the next step ahead.

It's a very low-key short film, in the sense that it has pretty much no budget lol. There's not much to spend money on. If anyone is interested in doing it for the fun of it, reach out. You don't have to be a trained actor (although it wouldn't be a bad thing, lol). Shooting will take no more than 3-4 days. (The closer you are to J.P Nagar, the more convenient it is to film)

I don't really have any professional equipment, so planning to just film on my iPhone.

So recently one of the people I know confronted me about my use of tretinoin that it may not be vegan and called me a hypocrite. When I told that it's for my skin to be healthy and that I have no other cruelty free alternative to tretinoin, she told me that it's not necessary for me to live, hence its selfish and that I'm a hypocrite. It is true that I don't "need" it to be alive but what do I do for my acne? A dermatologist prescribed it to me. Idk man. What can I say?

All I see is 20- and 30-year-olds in this sub. Are there even any vegan teenagers in India at all, let alone Bengaluru :( I don't even have a vegan friend my age.

I (18M from Bengaluru) want to do activism on the streets, in public parks, etc. to educate people about veganism. If anyone in Bengaluru (particularly near JP Nagar, even if not, it's fine) is also interested in talking to the public, or can help record conversations to post online to reach more people, or can simply help with editing, please reach out.

I got 594/600 in my boards (99%) studying 1 month before my boards because I had applied to over 20 colleges in the U.S and just didn't get the time to study in advance because of the process. My dad congratulates me as soon as I get my results, and 2 hours later, he sees some people on the news getting 600/600, and asks me why I didn't get 600. Not only does he have the audacity to ask me that, knowing how hard I sat in my room for hours to work on my college applications but also sitting for over 10-12 on the chair to study for boards days before the exams, he also tells my mom "He should have studied harder, look at these kids who got 600/600 making their parents proud in the tv".

Btw, my dad, who "congratulated" me for my results, doesn't miss a chance to demean me infront of every person he talks to. The same guy who asked why I didn't get 600/600, loves insulting me infront of others saying, "All he knows is to study in his room, sitting for hours, infront of his computer. How will he survive in the world". Like, he doesn't even know what I do on my computer. While I was busy working hard on my college applications and doing different extracurriculars and stuff, all my dad sees is that I sit in my room, infront of the computer, and just study. Like wtf.

The other day while I was learning to drive from him, he asks, "Do you know there are students who've gotten Phds by the age of 13? Why couldn't you do something like that?". Bro wtf am I supposed to do? He's not happy with anything I do? Why tf should I get a Phd at a young age, which some superbrainy kid did, so that he can go around taking all the credit for it that he was the reason I would've have been able to do that, and then insult me the next second he gets that I'm not capable of doing anything else.

What kinda bullshit is this? I can't even tolerate this anymore. Idk when I'm going to lash out at him unfiltered.

Me(18M) got waitlisted at Trinity College CT. I am an international student from India, and I sent a LOCI a month ago on April 9th. They mentioned in their website that they begin taking waitlist students April 11th onwards. I read a reddit comment of another waitlisted student that he received an acknowledgment email from Trinity in response to his LOCI, whereas I received nothing. It's been over a month and now I'm thinking whether they actually received my LOCI or not. Should I send them another email asking if they received my loci or something else? please help me.

Me(18M) got rejected from 19/20 colleges I applied to and got waitlisted at Trinity College CT. Idek if they're offering admission to waitlist students already or what's happening. It's been really depressing because I worked really really really hard on my apps.

Idk man. I worked so hard. I don't even know where else I can improve. I spent 1000s and 1000s of hours of work into my apps and now it's all down the drain.

I sent my LOCI to Trinity but I'm not even sure I'll get in since they only take like 25 people out of 500 each year from the waitlists. Since I'm low efc, they're most probably going to not take me off the waitlist. I've lost all hope. I'm planning to take a gap year and apply to some more colleges with low tuition which are more likely to accept me.

I just wanted to know if Trinity CT started picking students from the waitlist, and what else I can do to tell them that I NEED them to accept me.
