Happy 4th of July and 250th to our American Really Useful fans!
Good morning Price fans. Happy 4th of July and Happy 250, America. Let us acknowledge that The Price Is Right is an American original and not a franchise. Our marvelous host Bob Barker and so many of the crew have championed that.
Happy 4th of July, Loud Crowd

Hey guys. Do you guys have some hopes for the future of The Owl House franchise following the release of The Long Lived King in September?
To be honest or it could be my opinion only, the future of The Owl House appears to have already been decided and it's not gonna be bright. I think it's better to prepare for not very great things rather than have hope for the franchise otherwise we would be having delusions. Remember that Dana Terrace wants to move on from The Owl House and Disney is seemingly going all force with Bluey, the global phenomenon? Unfortunately, given all of this in mind, as well as the current political climate in the United States led by President Donald Trump with the Make America Great Again Movement aka Trumpism (as well as Nigel Farage with Reform UK in Britain, Pauline Hanson with One Nation in Australia and elsewhere) in which companies respond by rolling back on certain types of content, The Owl House: The Long Lived King is likely going to be the end of the entire Owl House franchise when it releases on September 29, 2026. September 29, 2026 could be the last day of the entire Owl House franchise. All of this will be over, and possibly over forever. The Owl House franchise would likely not get a second life. One life only. Even if that one single life only lasted under a decade. We're not reaching 10 years by 2030. There is absolutely no going back now. It seems to me that it is too late to turn things around now and The Owl House is well on its way to the cartoon industry graveyard where it will be laid to rest.
The Owl House: The Long Lived King is likely going to end up being a One-And-Done affair instead of the beginning of a possible Owl House Graphic Novel Series. Terrace is only using her words "It can open a path to continue the story, fill in lost gaps, and tell meaningful stories we couldn't in the show" to mask the possibility of it being the only Owl House Graphic Novel ever made. This messaging is used because if Terrace publicly said that it will be the only Owl House Graphic Novel and it will be the end of the franchise, fans will be let down, their hearts will be broken and they will not be willing to buy it. Who knows if the release of The Long Lived King would push through or not? Why? The Owl House was supposed to release a Graphic Novel in May 2022 but was cancelled abruptly in March. The Long Lived King could suffer the same fate. If The Long Lived King gets cancelled, that will immediately be the final nail in the coffin for The Owl House franchise. That's not the only factor on why it could be on a limbo. Take a look at the bigger picture. Even physical media such as books and Graphic Novels can be affected by the present political, social and cultural norms. If The Long Lived King does get cancelled, we have no choice but to accept that fate.
Not even independent media such as Terrace's new Glitch Productions series Knights of Guienevere is safe from what the rules of today, driven by right-wing, nationalist and populist movements, decide in which creators responding by adjusting or and having their series not last long to protect their well-being. How can Independent Media be affected? Platforms like YouTube being influenced to control algorithms in favor of wholesome, universally-appealing and family-friendly content. As what we heard from Dana Terrace in recent interviews about Knights of Guienevere not being designed to last long, it could possibly last a single season. The Amazing Digital Circus, which is also by Glitch, ended after a single 9-episode season. It is simply a chain reaction.
Possibly, it is unfortunately going to be no more adventures in the Boiling Isles in any form of media (books, film, TV) after The Long Lived King releases. No more Owl House merchandise either. All Owl House characters are going to end up being demoted to Chibiverse background cameos and no more dedicated Chibiverse episodes for them like in the past. It is likely going to be the characters' only usage from now on, making it look like the IP is still active but reality says otherwise. Signs that Disney is slowly pivoting away from The Owl House while owning the IP as Disney wants to protect its image from political, social and cultural backlash by shifting toward wholesome, universally appealing and family-friendly content and global phenomenons.
A return of The Owl House in any form of media is even more impossible now because the writers, the crew and the voice actors (Especially Sarah Nicole-Robles, who voiced Luz Noceda) have all moved on to new projects, making their return to write new Owl House stories and give voice to the characters unlikely. Some of them may already be under contract with stuff outside of The Owl House which restrains them from returning to the IP. The Owl House characters are reduced to cameo background roles in Chibiverse rather than getting any new dedicated episodes for said reasons, combined with Disney's prioritization of Universally-appealing Bluey and the obstacles brought on by the political, social and cultural norms. We're not just basing it on the availability of the voice actors. If Luz and Amity got another Chibiverse episode again this season just like last year's The Perfect Gift (the last dedicated Owl House Chibiverse episode to date in which Sarah Nicole-Robles and Mae Whitman returned to voice them), the reception would be very reactionary this time around compared to before and then Conservative families would ask Disney gives more Bluey and Bingo Heeler instead because their sister relationship is considered more pure and appealing. Do not expect another Chibiverse episode starring Lumity or any other Owl House character again and expect more Bluey and her friends and family. It's too risky to give our favorite characters new stories in any way now.
Disney is already pushing down on Bluey with a movie coming next year and many assume that it is seeking to acquire Bluey from Ludo Studio, BBC and ABC for Billions of Bucks, just so that more seasons could be greenlit with the snap-off a finger as a love letter to Bluey fans and to say thank you for the support they have given the Heelers over these past 8 years (Bluey has been around since 2018) and at the Expense of The Owl House. But, please, if Disney acquires Bluey and greenlights more seasons, be excited rather than worry about The Owl House because a global phenomenon is joining the family.
There is the mentality that The Owl House and Bluey cannot co-exist anymore if Disney buys Bluey outright but still owns The Owl House IP and that The Owl house has to die for Bluey to survive. There must be bitter fans out there who think that The Owl House has to be totally sacrificed to welcome Bluey Heeler as the newest member of the Disney family. Let's just say The Owl House will come to a standstill, that's true, but with the existing series is still streaming on Disney+ with only one-off TV reruns (even if these reruns are likely going to end up being in after-dark timeslots) in a hypothetical situation in which Bluey is acquired by Disney as Disney gives so much of its time and energy to the Blue Dog and making her young fans happy.
We, The Owl House fandom, can guarantee The Owl House a better future in our own little way by rising up and forming a grassroots movement to convince Disney and the masses that the adventures of Luz and the gang are far from over, they will not be stuck in minor cameo appearances in Chibiverse for long and that there is more to come, regardless if it's books, film, TV, anything in hopes that Disney will one day shout out loud: "Do you miss Luz and the gang? They're coming back!" We can draw comparisons to Kim Possible and Phineas And Ferb in which fan movements brought those series back for more. However, take note that neither Kim Possible and Phineas And Ferb are not progressive, do not have any known LGBTQ characters, the characters are not explicitly gay with many assuming them to be straight, neither series has been branded "Woke" and therefore do not cause any political friction.
But unfortunately, factors including Bluey's huge fandom, Disney's stance on The Owl House, and the influence of right-wing populism in our world, are going to shut down our efforts to give The Owl House the future we want. This would tell us to stop fighting a losing battle, take a step back, accept the circumstances and move on with our lives. It would also show us that after The Long Lived King releases on September 29 and we get the Graphic Novel, our time and energy are better off somewhere else in the world rather than The Owl House. We have to understand some things in life like family, health, safety, survival, education, work, jobs, relationships, financial stability, ambitions, goals and well-being are worth more and need more of our time and attention than The Owl House.
The Sad Truth? The Owl House Fanbase and Community is Small and Quiet compared to Bluey's Fandom Which Is Big And Loud And Passionate and Bluey was chosen to crossover with Mickey Mouse, while The Owl House has its characters appearing in Chibiverse in minor background roles only. Bluey is Way More Popular Than The Owl House. We Have No Choice But To Accept That Luz Noceda is a Starlet and Bluey Heeler is A Superstar. Bluey is actually something people from both sides of the Political Isle can Unite Behind in a time of increasing divisions, unlike The Owl House which increasingly gets attacked from the Political Right. I think that's why Bluey gets a free pass in today's climate while The Owl House has to pay the price. Let's be real. Bluey is literally the Number 1 thing that makes people happy right now, even more happy than what The Owl House can do. The People have Spoken and Now we know what it is like if we pit The Owl House against the Number 1. Some Owl House fans admit being fans of Bluey as well with some of them even going as far as saying they love Bluey even more and even get to put their disagreements with fellow Bluey fans aside who are not fond of The Owl House's themes. A smaller fandom and more niche appeal mean less demand and a bigger fandom and a broader appeal mean more demand. I understand that Bluey is getting a bright future while The Owl House is going dark and has only 89 days left.
It's not going to be a: Welcome Back but a Final Farewell to The Owl House. It is unfortunate, but life must go on. I get it. Many of us, myself included, are not ready to leave behind this wonderful chapter of our lives and to face the prospect of a future without The Owl House. We are also the losers of this battle and the battle has been won by Corporate executives, Bluey fans, politicans, Conservative Parents, Politicians, Right-Wing leaders holding Major Government Offices, Presidents, World Leaders, etc, and we are not willing to concede defeat. But we have no choice. Let's show good sportsmanship and leave everything where it is. We were able to survive life before The Owl House came in January 2020, right?
So, I guess this is it. It's our last chance to see Luz and the gang before they are consigned to history and belong to the ages. They're going to The Ages, Not Disney, Not Dana Terrace, Not Even Us The Fans.
I don't think The Owl House might no longer sustain its popularity a decade from now, failing to retain relevance it currently holds and possibly fading into obscurity. People change and people grow up. By then, rewatching favorite Owl House episodes will no longer entertain fans as much as now. Fan-arts and fanfics will be exhausted. And people will eventually move on to new things, get a job, get married and have children. The Owl House is likely to not gain a new generation of fans, not even the children of today's fans would get into it, because trends by then would be very different from now.
As for Bluey, it is likely to sustain and significantly increase its popularity a decade from now because fans will stick around and share it with the next generation and many older fans remain loyal and admit "We Never Left". It could be on its milestone 10th season by then, possibly under Disney's full ownership and as a former property of Ludo Studio, BBC and ABC. Like I said, a smaller fandom and more niche appeal mean less demand and a bigger fandom and a broader appeal mean more demand. We cannot force a former fan of The Owl House to stay in the fandom forever if they outgrow Luz and her friends' adventures and move on to other interests.
It Is All Beyond Our Control. Dana Terrace moving on. The Bluey phenomenon and its potential acquisition by Disney. The political, social and cultural climate. The Owl House not being able to witness the test of time in years to come. The changing times and shifting tastes of the masses. Everything. We cannot control our shifting interests either. As the old saying goes: "If you don't leave your past in the past, it will destroy your future. Live for what today has to offer, not what yesterday has taken away". Time moves forward, so must we. The end of The Owl House franchise is not a reason for the world to stop turning around.
So, get the Graphic Novel because what we built in the name of The Owl House over 6 years ago WILL BE REMADE IN BLUEY'S IMAGE BY DISNEY, DANA TERRACE WILL FACE THE TRUTHS OF THE TIMES THAT WILL LEAD TO HER STORIES GETTING SHORT, RIGHT WING POPULISM WILL INFLUENCE STORIES, THE OWL HOUSE WILL EVENTUALLY FALL OUT OF POPULARITY IN FAVOR OF NEW TRENDS WITHIN A DECADE, AND IT WILL BE THE END OF AN ERA. WITHIN A FEW MONTHS, The Owl House will be a media franchise of YESTERYEARS and will Be Gone, Long Gone, for real and into the Scriptures of History.
Thanks For The Memories The Owl House Franchise (January 10, 2020-September 29, 2026). We Fought Very Well Until The End. Unless one unexpected miracle happens or if we prove enough that we are not finished yet like the grassroots movement I mentioned earlier, it's a thank you and good night for once and for all. Don't let anyone tell you that a future of The Owl House franchise is never guaranteed. Let's just pray that this is not the definitive end.

I often confuse the initials of our show BCG with BGT (Britain's Got Talent)
I think it would sound good
So much has happened over these last 20 years. I will be honest with you. Lasting 2 decades is no joke and is not an easy feat. But I'm glad we were able to make it this far
Next year, it will be our 20th anniversary. This means that BGT will have been around for 2 decades. To be honest, a run this long is no joke but we were able to manage it.
Have you guys noticed this?
What if the story of Amphibia were adapted to a musical? What would you want to see?
The Ghost And Molly McGee has been promised much but has been given little. I am a fan of both that and The Owl House. I watched the last episode of Chiviverse last night, and I can't believe Molly and Ollie and Luz and Amity were reduced to minor background roles instead of the lead! It's a clear sign that Disney is slowly and gradually pivoting away from those IPs following their unfair cancellations in favor of that overrated and overhyped doggie series Bluey! I'm pretty sure some of you read my Owlphibia post a few days ago about The Long Lived King being potentially the end of The Owl House franchise. I've been waiting to admit it but I can admit it now: I am not a fan of Chiviverse because it reduces many unwanted IPs just to let the billion dollar making juggernauts like Bluey shine. Pease I want Molly to be back with a new standalone show! Do it now, Disney!!!!
It's Tater Ramirez-Humphrey from Primos.
I get it. I know that some of you agree with me, disagree with me, and some may be confused. But I find this friendship really really cute. Besides, Molly and Tater have a lot in common. They are both optimistic and imaginative. They find good in everyone. They sing very well. They're just like a combination of Mabel, Star, Luz and Charlie.
Anyways, that's why I think Molly would be best paired with Tater.
Happy Pride Month Y'all
I think yes. Disney cut The Owl House short and Bluey has more than what The Owl House ever has. So we want to send an Olive Branch to Luz and her friends.
How would a team of Tater, Serena, Molly, Libby and Andrea fare in a basketball game Vs a team of Anne, Marcy, Sasha, Luz and Amity?
Hey guys. Do you guys have some hopes for the future of The Owl House franchise following the release of The Long Lived King in September?
