Looking for 3 Players - Beginner Friendly D&D Campaign

Hey everyone,

We're looking for 3 more players to join a beginner-friendly D&D campaign.

​

This campaign will run from levels 1-5 and is designed to help newer players learn the game in a relaxed environment. If the group works well together and everyone is having fun, the DM is interested in running a longer campaign afterward.

​

A few details:

​

Free game (not paid)

​

We use Discord for voice and D&D Beyond for character sheets

​

Sessions are currently planned for Fridays at 2:30 PM EST /EDT

​

Depending on everyone's schedules, the start time may shift slightly

​

Looking for players 18+

​

New players are absolutely welcome

​

Campaign is roughly 50% story and 50% combat

​

Player choices will have an impact on the story

​

Our DM is very friendly, easy to work with, and enjoys helping players create characters that fit both their vision and the balance of the game. If you're new and unsure how to build a character, you'll have plenty of help.

​

This campaign does not include sexual content. Future campaigns may have different themes, but that would be discussed with the group beforehand.

What we're looking for:

Reliable players who can communicate if they're going to miss a session

​

People who enjoy D&D and want to play for the fun of the game

​

Respectful players who work well with others

PS. If you are wanting to join us the only thing you'll need is for your character to have motivation of why they want to go out on an adventure.

Hey everyone,

​

​

I'm a 29-year-old guy looking to join an online long-term D&D group. I'm semi-experienced. I've only been in one campaign, and unfortunately it didn't finish, but I had a great time and I'm looking to get back into the hobby.

​

The character I'd like to play again was a reflavored Moon Druid with a puppet companion that fought alongside him. At level 3 I took Circle of Dragons, which let me use Wild Shape to turn into a dragon wyrmling. That said, I'm not locked into that exact character or build. I'm happy to adjust things based on what the party needs.

​

My only real preferences are:

​

​

I'd like to play a Druid

​

I'd like some way to eventually turn into a dragon

​

I'd like to have a puppet companion of some kind

​

Beyond that, I'm pretty flexible and willing to work with the DM to make sure everything fits the campaign and setting.

​

Availability:

​

Weekdays: Usually free after 2 PM EDT

​

If I get stuck working overtime, I may not be available until 3 or 4 PM, but I'll always give notice if I'm going to be late

​

Weekends: Usually free all day

​

​

I'm hoping to use Discord and D&D Beyond, but I'm flexible and learn new platforms pretty quickly.

If there's room, I also have another interested player who has some light DM experience. Their schedule is:

Tuesday–Friday: 5:45 AM – 2:00 PM

​

Saturday: 5:45 AM – 1:00 PM

​

As for playstyle, I enjoy combat a little more than roleplay, but I still like a good story and character development. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to setting, theme, and tone as long as there's a decent balance between combat and story.
