Minimum time to hold a free share?

This is probably a stupid question but one I haven't found an answer to yet.

Just signed up and free share allocated (Euro dividends) but while there is a minimum of 12 months to stay on the platform is there a minimum length of time to keep the free share as is or can I sell it straight away and reinvest into something else?

Expected depreciation

Might just be buyers nerves but buying on a 0% pcp and facing a £9600 balloon payment in 4 years.

Paying a net £22000 for an 02 and currently thought will be to keep it.

Does anyone have any experience of the likely depreciation Insters have yet?

Just ordered, second set of wheels?

Uk - Ordered an o2 out of short delivery time, 0% finance, black with heat pump and tech pack but not keen on the 17" wheels. How do people find the tyres as well? I have been running All Weather tyres for the last 3 years and they have been far better for grip in wet conditions than my original set on my Aygo.

Dealer can get me a quote for a second set but will likely be expensive. Has anyone else looked at replacing the 17" back to 15" on the 02? It might cost but the 215 tyres seem overkill for the car as a whole, and tbh I'm old and 185/65/15 seem large to me lol

Hinen batteries?

Does anyone know anything about Hinen batteries that seem to be advertised on IG now?

Existing overseas business that's now launched in the UK or rebranded kit?

Sigenergy vs Fox real world differences?

Does anyone have any real world experience of the Foxess inverters and EP12 or Evo10 vs a Sigenergy bat 10 system.

Both are compatible with Axle

Apart from the cycle warranty being 6000 vs 10000 does the software really make any difference to the day to day running once the set up is in place?

The bat 10 is about 8.7kw usable and markedly smaller. probably more expensive than Fox to install tho

The EVO10 is about 9.7kwh usable with built in eps.

The EP12 is 10.3kwh usable.

Thanks for any insight

August 2016 FIT payment on purchased property

I'm aware of the deemed 50% export and generation but my partner is buying a property in the next couple of months with 3kw solar on the WNW side of the roof that qualifies for a 6.50p FIT payment.

No battery installed and it's something I will try to look at for her to get her electric costs down..

That said assuming she is not changing the panelling at this stage is there any likelihood of the fit provider having an issue with changing the inverter to a hybrid model and a battery? Would on its own cause them to cancel the fit payments or is it just a tick box exercise?

That being said at 6.5p for another 10 years on FIT would you be questioning whether going to a SEG tariff and battery is a better option compared to the FIT tariff even though it is guaranteed

North West 7/7/26 22:30-23:30

I just find this a weird time for there to be a shortfall tomorrow evening but luckily I will have enough battery capacity to hold so back for the event but would love to know the commercial decision for the grid events as on the face of it seems a little odd

Hot water schedule occasionally not triggering

vaillant 5kw ashp and 210l tank. I have a nightly hot water cycle that for the last couple of weeks is failing to trigger on a irritating occasional basis.

normally set at 50° with a 5.0kw hysteresis and min temp of 40° but this morning the tank is at 32°

Seems fine if I put it on to heat manually but presume it is a setting that is causing this unless it is a potential fault, but the installer requested remote access and not heard from him since

Buying a home and giving notice on rented

Hopefully a simple question (in England)

with the RRA and 2 months notice for the tenant on a rolling contract is there any suggestions regarding purchasing a house when the usual practice is to give notice at exchange.

I'd probably not be wanting to pay another two months rent if I can help it but knowing when to give notice is going to be an issue otherwise

Fixed rate moving house and exit fee?

Partner is on an octopus fixed rate that may finish in July iirc but is in the process of buying a house.

If she takes out a new fixed rate then will that be able to be transferred over to the new property or would it trigger a exit fee to close the account down

She would then have to create a new account at the new property with a new fixed rate as available?
