Silk Browser resolution
Trying to get the silk browser to display at 1080p.
I have some self hosted sites that have pages solely for metrics, but they all appear squished because of the browser resolution.
I’ve tried TV Bro. That also didn’t work.

Just rolled over some old traditional 401Ks my wife had into one consolidated Fidelity IRA - approx $70k.
What’s the best way to optimize? We’re late 20s. We’d like to be a little more aggressive since this is our fourth retirement account (Maxed out 401K, 403b, and two IRAs for each). I haven’t deposited any into my IRA yet so this will set the baseline for both of us.
I was looking at VOO and VTI, but I’m unfamiliar with how the app works with having to manually buy into each share (?). For reference, I have thrift savings plan, fed, and just throw them into the pre-established mixes of 50%C, 25%S, and 25% I. I’ve had good returns thus far I’d say (~15%-20%).
I have some tickets on TickPIck, seated (Section 403, Row 13 x2). I have them at $150, which is already lower than most, however, if someone really wants to go, I will drop it to $105. These are seats, not standing. Just message me and I will drop it in that window so you can scoop them up.
My wife and I really wanted to go since we walked down the aisle and had our first dance to Tyler, but the show was unfortunately rescheduled. We found out after we flew across the country, but we can't make it in August since our kids start school that week.
Edit: I wouldn’t be making money off the tickets if I reduced the price, just breaking even, and can prove this if needed. We just want someone to enjoy the show since we couldn’t.
Looking for recommendations on local swingset/playset combos that aren’t upwards of 2500 for mediocre quality. I saw some at Sam’s that are shipped for 1500, but quality is lacking based on reviews.
I have family in the Houston area and there are some shops that sell premade ones or disassembled playsets that have swings, slides, and tree house style play areas for about the same or less.
Any recommendations for something solid? I have a few kids, younger, and looking for something to do since the parks are always super crowded near us.
Cat tore up some of the flooring down to the wood underneath. It’s against a transition strip, so there are tacks. About 6inx6in.
Just looking for recommendations.
Finally got a hold of some old optiplex machines (for free!) looking to use one of them to run adguard, wireguard, photo backups, and a calendar style application.
Any suggestions for the calendar? I would like to containerize and basically turn it into a self-hosted site that’s only internal. The intent is to have all of my young kids track their daily events, there’s 3 total so it adds up fast.
Wife wants me to mount a small 24inch in their hallway to display things like calendar, current time/date, to-do, shopping lists or recipes, and maybe a “fun fact!” of the day for them. Additionally, if I self host, what’s a good way to actually connect this monitor to the site? Maybe a cheap fire stick or something with internet browsing capability just to connect.
Any resources or suggestions would be great.
My wife has 2 401ks (~roughly 70k split total; 50k in one, remainder in the other), and a TRS with her new job.
She hasn’t been able to contribute to her 401ks (both traditional) since moving jobs/career fields but we’re looking to throw these into a Roth IRA so that we can continue to contribute and max out. I’m already maxing my 401k out, and looking to pad her retirement before opening an IRA for myself.
Obviously, there will be fees or taxes when transition from traditional to ROTH, but if based on our current tax bracket wouldn’t be bad as my career field’s average income typically goes up quite as time progresses and I’m already 10 years into this field.
Any input or advice? Am I missing anything? Is this a stupid idea? Let me know your thoughts, I’m here for advice.
Thanks in advance
Looking to take a four-day trip out to see the Tyler Childers show and to also see Niagra falls. I am unsure if it would be easier to rent a vehicle and drive or just do ride-share. I am from a relatively large metro so I am used to being able to get from point A to point B without major expenses, although I understand that during shows there are surges.
What is the easiest way to see both of these in 4 days? Is it worth it or should I catch a different city to see the show? I am reading a lot of mixed revews on the ampitheather.
