Started off as a 1 week old baby abandoned in the garbage. Now Maple, has an adoptive mama.

Background: someone locally posted about baby budgies found abandoned in the garbage. I offered to help, 1 of them passed and maple (pictured here) thrived! After 1 month of hand feeding my female budgie Icy, took over and has been raising him and teaching him how to bird!

4 weeks ago a kind person posted they found two baby budgies in their garbage that were abandoned. They dropped both to me, 1 unfortunately passed after having a broken leg. The 2nd one (estimated age was around 1 week) has grown into a happy healthy grown budgie!

From feeding every 3 hours, Maple is thriving well and adjusting to his new family of budgies, cockatiels and a green cheek conure. He’s still being hand fed but he’s happy and healthy!

My local store has the silkn flash & go jewel on clearout for $77 from $309. Seems like a good deal, has anyone used it before?

As long as I can remember I get scalp acne, I don’t think there’s been a day without acne on my scalp. I’ve tried ALOT of prescription shampoos and treatment. The acne almost always has pus in it. It’s just very annoying and makes me insecure.

Is there a systemic reason for this? I wash my hair 2-3x a week, I don’t use heat, I don’t style. I have clean beds. I don’t even use dry shampoo.

Old many days does this baby look like it is?
