By that I mean that if some old jaded Guardian that got sick of all the fighting, dying and being resurrected, the constant threat, that got to the point of stopping going out into the system and then deciding to stay in The City for the foreseeable future to 'retire'. Are they allowed to do so? Or are all Guardians going to be considered active military personnel until the have their final death?

Title. In H:CE and H2 plus some other official shorts we see that under active camo some parts of Covenant weaponry still shine: the "barrel" of both the plasma rifle and the plasma pistol (idk what to call the part that actually shots the plasma bolts), the plasma rifle heat gauge , the grenades of a bruteshot, and most egregious of all the entirety of the blades of a energy sword (y'know the most brilliant and noticeable part of that blade?), and then frm H3 onwards (with some exceptions) all those parts that were still visible under active camo now camouflage completely.

So what version of the 2 active camo types we've seen is the canon one? While I think the first type (H:CE & H2) is more iconic, it is the one that makes less sense stealth-wise, and the 2nd type (H3 onwards) actually makes sense stealth-wise, but loses the charm of the first type

Title. My brother bought me a pair of Love Letter Jordan 1's and I really liked the shoelaces they come with, I bought a pair of the Chicago Jordan 1 lows for my brother and the shoelaces are different, the Love Letter ones are slightly thicker and fuzzier/soft, I got a pair of shoes that are needing a change of shoe laces and I would love to get ones that are like the ones that came with the ones my brother got me

Was playing with some friends and we all got weaseled but whenever we try to boot the game up again it shows us an error that sais that the D2 servers are unavailable?

Should we reset our consoles/pc, or are the servers really down?

Title, I went from 0 patterns on all the vog weapons to unlocked patterns for all of them in these past 5 days, Ive been grinding out either by full runs or by checkpoint farming Timelost weapons, but the thing is that I don't exactly know what rolls to get on some, for Fatebringer I farmed for a roll during Heresy that had explosive payload in the 3rd column and frenzy/one for all/firefly on the 4th column so I'm set for that one, and for Hezen's I know one with overflow/cluster in the 3rd column and elemental honing/aggregate charge/bait and switch is the way to go.

The thing is that for the other weapons I don't have a clue of what to get, any suggestions?

To understand what I mean with the title, I'll use the Sonic The Hedgehog community's pet peeves as examples: "his back spines should be longer!", "he should be a blue-er blue!"

So I'll hand over 2 of mine:

• "I wish Operation: Seraph Shield was more Warmind flavored rather than Deepstone Cript flavored"
• "I wish that we could have gotten the adept shader of Season's 14 and 15 for player use"

Edit: I'll add few others I have thought about:

• "it was a huge missing opportunity not to make a exotic based on the Fallen auto rifle that uses the same damage proyectiles as a healing auto"
• "I hate that even with the icon rework, shaders still have hidden colors that we can only find when applied to an armor/weapon"

Title. They were a gift from me to my brother but on his way back home today some dimwit threw a bucket of water mixed with powdered soap at his direction, both of the shoes resulted almost completely drenched from the front. Any advice of anything to keep the shoes on a good condition, apart from just leaving them to dry?

Title. I was wondering as I was browsing through my old gameplay clips and found some of me and some friends *trying to play Trials in D1 (*note that we sucked at D1 pvp), some of my one and only match of Trials of the Nine, some others of the Mountaintop/Recluse grind in competitive, and some varied Trials of Osiris ones (like when it launched, Season of the Chosen's introduction of adepts, etc.).

That got me thinking 🤔, which was the most competitive activity in its prime? I personally am split between the Forsaken era Competitive and Season of the Chosen/Season of the Splicer era Trials of Osiris.

Title. In case you missed it the reason War Beasts are so aggressive in gameplay is because of the harness that they put them in, recently re-read the lore of Luna (the dog, not the moon) and how their original owner was gifted a War Beast cub, add to that the end cutscene of TFS that showed us human and eliksni children playing with a puppy War Beast. So do the War Beasts normally act like dogs

To elaborate on the title, I mean they HAVE matter we've have both wielded and worn weapons and armor made of the same matter they're made of.

I want some all-white af1's (because my 7 year old pair finally but the dust), but I've read that if I order a pair of the 'by you' versions that they are better quality than a normal release, the thing is that from where I read it, the posts are 3-4 years old. Does anyone know if the better quality of the 'by you' versions still holds true?

Just a shower thought that came to me, because they had plans/directives for almost every possibility but I can't recall any book passage or game terminal that discussed a scenario like that

Just why?

Was gonna post another thing but noticed it and my ocd compelled me to ask here

Edit: while centered it's tilted now lmao, love u u/Shabolt_

I think this quote by one of the best characters of this franchise we've had the pleasure of knowing sums up the best possible way the impact both Destiny and Destiny 2:

A franchise that was a hit in 2014 and will continue to live through the words of the people that experienced it, which met a saddening end thanks to mismanagement, corruption and greed.

I completely forgot their handle & out of the 1412 accounts I follow (I use Twitter too much to see artists…)

I couldn't find them (yes I checked ALL) so my dumbass forgot to follow them.

I'm mainly asking because they started a comic about one innocent guy confessing to his childhood friend but, the twist was that the girl hated the guy because her parents sort of 'forced' her to be the guy's friend without him knowing because his parents either are rich, or are the superiors in the company they all work in (I don't remember exactly), well after the girl finally explodes and lashes out on the guy, her parents don't take the news too well and by the next page she shows up with bandages all over with chocolate trying to "make up" with the guy, who obviously after being hurt by someone he had a crush on refuses her

After his rejection the girl arrives home with the chocolate and her mother takes note of that, the girl tries to justify herself to her mom, but I think it's implied that her mother is deaf and as a punishment she cuts the girls hair. The next day the girl comes to school and everyone sees her appearance (bandaged all over, and with her hair crudely cut short)

And that's were I was left off because either one of the accounts I followed stopped retweeting the pages so they showed up in my feed or the artist sadly deleted their account

I'm at my city's metro and on one of the seats farthest from me I saw a guy pull out a roll of clear adhesive tape and started to pull a small chunk put it on the sole of his shoe, took it out folded it and repeat.

He's still doing it (from what I can see), but is it a normal thing to do???
