[30/F] MIDWEST BOY MAMA ISO PENPAL BFF 🫶

Hi! My names Marissa, I'm 30 years old living in the US. I am a boy mama to three beautiful boys! I am currently engaged to the loml and getting married in 4 days! Since coming out I have lost so many friends and family. I'm just looking for support/penpals/friends to send collage letters to, stickers, poems, ideas, talk about life etc. I'm pansexual, late-blooming I could literally live outside- except BIG BUGS. EW. I love traveling, hiking, canoeing, riding dirt bikes, writing, reading, drawing, oddity art, concerts, camping (or glamping 💁‍♀️) etcccc. I love all types of music, too! Feel free to DM me! Also - do yall have like a PO box you do this out of?!

Happiest week of my life, but where is my circle? Looking for community!

I’m sitting here 4 days away from marrying the most incredible woman, and while I am so deeply in love and excited, I’m also feeling a weight of loneliness I didn't expect.

I came out this year after realizing who I truly am. Falling in love with a woman and stepping into my truth has been the most freeing, beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced. But the fallout from my old life has been brutal.

Since coming out:

* My best friend told me she doesn't know who I am anymore and backed out of being in my wedding.

* Family members have called me "disgusting" or turned their backs completely.

* Because I have three kids and was previously with a man, my sexuality is constantly questioned, dissected, and invalidated.

* ETCCC.

Most of my family isn't showing up to our wedding this weekend. While I’m beyond grateful for the handful of people who *are* standing by us, losing my support system while trying to plan a wedding and raise a family has felt incredibly isolating. It feels like I walked through a fire to get to my authentic life, but I emerged on the other side needing a whole new circle.

I'm posting this because I really want to make friends who understand this space—queer friends, late bloomers, moms, or anyone who knows what it feels like to rebuild your life after choosing yourself.

How did you find your community after coming out? And if anyone ever wants to connect, chat about life, kids, or surviving family drama, my DMs are always open. I'd love to meet my people. 🏳️‍🌈✨

Exes

Okay, late bloomer who divorced her husband a year ago and met my fiance not too long after. I'm 30 now and have only been in male relationships. Sometimes I feel like my fiance uses this to her advantage, i.e., "more lesbians stay friends with their exes, but you wouldn't know that." Okay, well, statistically, yes - looked it up lol. But like double standards? Questionable conversations? Idk. Is this more normal? Where does one draw lines? I want to know your personal boundaries!
