Weighed her for the first time, she is 14g

I weighed her the day before yesterday, she was not a fan of the scale(not a shock, none of my gecks are lmao), bit I managed to keep her still long enough. After that, I did a short session with her. Today, I tong-fed her 6 Dubias and she pigged out on them

I wanna know about Cave Gecko body language.

It just came to me at the moment but, what are some body language and cues that Cave Geckos exhibit and what are their meanings? They can be both positive and negative. I just wanna understand my girl a bit better. Pics unrelated

My first Handling session with Yinying

I wanted to check her hide for any poop or uneaten bugs that may be in hiding within the moss in her hide, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone so I turned this into a dual cleaning/handling session. It went well, I gently scooped her out, and she calmly walked around for like 8 minutes or so. I them put her back on the opposite side and then cleaned the hide. Thanks to that I know she isn't big on mealworms, at least not now, since all the ones I offered were still there. On the other hand, she LOVES dubias as she ate all of the dubias I fed her except for one and i figure it's because I offered it too early lol. I'm out of dubias but will get more tomorrow along with so much needed waxworms

Finally got a background and added substrate.

So it's been a hot minute since I posted on this sub. Yinying seems to be doing fine, I just finished adding her new background and substrate. I also redecorated while I was at it. She has spent the majority of her time inside of that Hide, haven't seen her or heard her wander in the enclosure at night. As for feeding, I've been leaving roaches at the entrance of her hide and they've disappeared as far as i can tell, plus i picked up some poop too, so I'm staying optimistic...

Found this on Amazon, would getting a Glow in the dark decor be a bad idea?

Totally fine with not getting it if it is bad. But I was curious on if a Glow in the dark decor would affect a crestie in any way and if so, how?

Hi, I wanted to show off the Fakémon from my region, Oridel. Hope you like them!

Here are a handful of the many pokemon I made for my Southeastern US Region(predominantly my old stomping ground of Florida)

Scrafticuffs: a Cross-gen evolution of Scrafty based on Red morph Green Iguanas and Spiny tail Iguanas. The idea behind Scrafticuffs is that it uses the shed skin on its tail and knees as spiked Brass Knuckles

Cramquarium: a Cross-gen evolution of Cramorant based on Anhingas. The idea is that it forms a symbiosis with the fish pokemon it catches and holds in it throat. The Cramorant keeps them safe and feeds them, and the Fish aid it in battle and in hunting

Buzzquib and Vuurwerk: Fire/Psychic type(can still learn fly) Black Vulture/Turkey Vultures themed around fireworks.

Burvil and Diaburacal: Grass/Dark type Sandburs, AKA those spiky seed plants that get stuck to clothing or pet fur...

Suddy and Swoale: Water-type sponges. Suddy is a simple-minded sponge that uses water to use for attacks with powerful water jets. With Swoale, it gains the Fighting type and it can absorb water and physically bulk up it body and use the water's weight to land devastating attacks with its large arms.

Whiskmer and Whisklord: Water/Ground type Convergents of the Wailmer line based on Blue Catfish.

Nymphunt and Darnjäeger: Bug/Dragon-Type Dragonflies, specifically the Hagenius brevistylus Dragonfly, AKA the Dragonhunter Dragonfly. The concept of Nymphunt and Darnjäeger is that it becomes a specialist at hunting Dragon pokemon of all kinds. Darnjäeger uses its tail as a makeshift Greatsword and its lower pair of wings as Dual Blades.

She has Finally arrived! Meet Yinying!

Got her from Nightfall Exotics(Great guy, highly recommend). She's 8 months old and after 2 weeks of delays due to the temperature(was way too hot to send her safely), she was finally shipped yesterday and i got her at around 9:40 and she looks phenomenal. She was surprisingly calm too, only flinched slightly when I tried to scoop her up, which was expected. I got her to crawl on my hand by picking up the paper towel she was on and she slowly crawled into the tank and hid in the cave i made out of Dragon stones and a Cork flat located at the warm side(or rather what's going to be the dryer, warmer side, since the lights are off so she can adjust).

How do one deal with Cage Aggression in Chewies?

I know I'm posting alot, but I wanna do as much research as I can. But anyways, this question just struck me in the moment, so I read Chahoua geckos can be cage aggressive/territorial, I know it's completely natural and i can't fully get rid of it, so how do I lessen the aggression?

To anyone who have used these visionariums, what are your thoughts? Also, How long could a baby Chahoua gecko live in a 18"Hx15"Dx20"L?

I have previously heard of these visionarums from Instagram and A Snake Discovery' green tree monitor hatching vid and I was curious... what are your thoughts on these and how long can a Chahoua gecko live in one of these? I imagine I'll have to upgrade, but how long could a baby stay in here until it gets too big?

Rearranged a few things, how's it looking?

Added 2 plant pieces that ended up smaller than i thought(Still using them tho). I want to add another piece or two to fill in some exposed gaps, specifically the left corner, but is this a little better?

Need help with coming up with a name for my female Chinese Cave Gecko

I am getting a young female Chinese Cave Gecko and I need help with coming up with a name. The name i initially set on was Yinying, which is the Chinese word for "Shadow," but after saying her name in casual conversation, wondering if I should change it into something more simple.

I have Neeko's forever cage, and I have an idea for it

It's a 24x18x36 I got on Facebook last Sunday. Now that I have the cage, I'm in the process of creating a background for it. I bought cork pieces, initially for the background, but I noticed the pieces are curved so I had this idea where if I combine a large or Jumbo cork hide and turn these into a sort of hide/background combo for him. I also want to add his original foam background, not only as it gives the effect of a tree in front of a rocky outcrop, but it also because it has Neeko's scent, which i imagine will help with the transition(as well as implementingall of his decor from his old cage). Not sure what to fill the empty space on the inside the cork "Stump," I'm open to suggestions.

Welp! It finally happened! Neeko's hormones are kicking in, just not in the way i thought...

The moment I found out Neeko was a boy, I was bracing myself for him becoming bitey and horny once the hormones kick in. But nope, his hormones made him a shut-in teen that refuses to leave his room. When i stick my hand in there, he'll crawl onto it like normal, but then just walk off of it and crawl back into him cork round or onto the background.

Neeko looking sharp after his shed

DON'T WORRY, I only turned on the light to see if anyone leftover shed was on him, after this photo I turned the lights back off and we hung out after.

Notices the area on Mushu's tail base looked off, what is it?

After Mushu Shed, I noticed that at the base of his tail looked a bit shiny in the dark, and when I turned on the lights, it looked gray yesterday(second and third Pic) but now it looks better now(first pic). What am I looking at? I'm afraid it might be a UV burn since I've noticed lately he loves to bask for short periods of times on the foliage before going to hide in the shade. I wasn't too worried since it was only for short periods. I moved the foliage down a bit so I hope that helps....
