EDIT: The point of my post isn’t that digital games never go on sale. The point is that once games reach a certain age, they need to stay cheap, instead of waiting for a sale. Black Ops 3 is still $60 digital on PC and consoles, and has no business still being $60, regardless if it goes on sale often or not. I’m not anti-digital, I have plenty of digital games

I bought the 4 games in the first picture for $10 total, and the second set of 4 games for $20 total today at GameStop. $30 USD total for 8 games (Technically 10 games)

Mass Effect Legendary Edition alone goes for $60 digital on Steam, and I got it at $5 marked as used, AND IT WAS A BRAND NEW COPY. I always buy my games used, unless it’s a specific game that I want to play the day it comes out, like Halo Campaign Evolved, or Kingdom Hearts 4, or Ocarina of Time Remake.

I love PlayStation games but Sony getting rid of discs in 2028 is such a bummer, I’m still debating on whether or not I want to buy GTA 6 when it releases, purely because it’s a code in a box. I honestly feel like Rockstar and Sony are using GTA 6 to prove a point that physical media is truly dead because they know they will sell millions of copies on top of the millions of pre orders they already have. I remain cautiously optimistic, that maybe the decision will be reversed before 2028, but what do our opinions matter, right?

I bought a used copy of the GoW Saga for the PS3 from GameStop a few days ago. I entered the code for gits and shiggles, and it actually worked! 14 years later lol so I’m posting it here in case more than one person can use it, you’ve got two free games to redeem before the store shuts down next year in the US
