I have a brand new channel. Less than a month in.
It is a channel to help mid career professionals with everything from changing jobs, getting promotions, office politics, etc.
I keep reading that YT takes up to 90 days to test run your content and algorithm. I also hear that educational content is a bit of a slow burn to get started.
For those of you who have had engaged views, did you notice a time when YT all of a sudden connected with your audience?
Was there a significant uptick in a short period of time?
Crossing my fingers and waiting seems like a poor strategy. Lol
I have a channel where for 99% of the video, I will be speaking to the audience and have graphics on screen from time to time.
However, I will add an occasional 5 second video I created with AI to illustrate a point. I do this because I don't want to risk a Copyright strike by using a clip from a movie/tv show/another YouTuber.
I also use AI to generate my thumbnails as well as to enhance the final audio output and colour mixing.
The question is, I feel odd selecting "AI Content" because in truth the site is not an AI generated channel.
So what defines when I have to select AI and when I don't?
Like the title says.
Yes I have a paid account
Yes I toggled "watermark off" when exporting.
It only started this morning.
Has anyone else run into this issue?
The so called "help desk" email didn't read my email thoroughly and just told me to use the toggle.
Then they decided to completely ignore my request for customer support and ghosted me.
Edit:
Riverside started looking into it and couldn't figure out why it was happening. Then when the "billing cycle" renewed for the month, the problem went away. The Riverside team still not sure why. They "hope to have it fixed so it doesn't happen again".
I am a F2P player who has been on for about 2 months now.
When I join an alliance, either everyone is in the middle of abandoning it and I get notifications to take over as R5 for 2000 gems OR the alliance is run by someone who constantly shifts people around on whims based on unwritten "rules".
I go along with what the alliance wants to do generally. I want to contribute as an R2, R3.
I don't want to take over an alliance since, well, this game is not my life.
I also don't want to sit at R1, R0 because the rewards stink.
Any suggestions on how to find a decent alliance?
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the comments and recommendations. I am going to finish my first KvK event in this alliance and then make a change.
I put in my $60 fee for the MBA program starting in June.
I have some very specific questions that *could* have a direct impact on admission.
My "admissions advisor" Ruma has refused to acknowledge my inquiries and the only reply is that a "Program Advisor" will be assigned.
So I decided to approach Student Affairs.
Zero response from them.
I feel duped and not sure what to do. If they just wanted a $60 donation there are easier ways.
