Help with master's program (media and communication)

Hi! I've spent weeks going back and forth on which master's degree to do. I have a bachelor's degree from a WO in Audiovisual Communication and C1 from Cambridge with a score of 190. However, I'd like to work in social media content creation/social media management. I'm undecided about which master's to choose, since I've come across several options, including New media and digital culture at the UvA, though I'm not sure how useful it is or whether it's actually related to what I want to do.

I'll be starting in September 2027 and this year I'll be studying Dutch and learning programs like GA4.

Is there a master's program related to this field that isn't as theoretical as New Media? Is there anyone who's graduated from a program like this who could share their experience? Thank you so much!

JSR Gum cosplay

Hi! I want to cosplay Gum from Jet Set Radio at my next con in December. I’m thinking about making the helmet and boots myself (I can’t wear roller skates at the con), but I’m not really sure how to do it. Could I make the boots/fake roller skates out of EVA foam? Are there any patterns or templates I could use for the helmet? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Tilburg or Twente University?

Hi everyone, I'm an international student from Spain, and I'm interested in studying a Master's degree related to Communication Sciences, with a focus on business social media. I'm planning to start my studies in January or February, and at the moment I'm deciding between the University of Twente and Tilburg University. Which of these universities is considered better in Communication Sciences? Also, which one offers better internship opportunities or industry connections?

I'd also love to know more about the atmosphere at both universities and how welcoming they are to international students. I'm not really a party person, I prefer quieter plans and a more relaxed social environment. Are there clubs, activities, or events where it's easy to meet people without having to go to parties? Thank you in advance!
