This was tougher than I thought.

This was tougher than I thought.

I finally managed to get all three rewards from the AoS Boss Rush. My main goal was to get the Valmanway (known as Crissaegrim in SOTN). I plan to do a New Game+ on Hard mode using only this weapon (and Excalibur). The sword doesn't seem as powerful as it was in SOTN, so I guess it'll be more balanced.

Btw, is it just me, or does the Valmanway sprite look a lot like the Master Sword from Zelda: A Link to the Past?

Guys, you won't believe this, it's Sypha and Trevor from that crazy Netflix series called Castlevania 🤯 But who is that ninja guy? I don't remember seeing him in the show 🤔

One of my favorite features in Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

In this particular game, there are different types of cloaks that change the color of Alucard's clothes. Even the most basic cloak has a different color, and if you save up enough gold, you can buy one that's fully customizable (and it's also a good biblical reference). Although I like the red cape, it's very useful in general

In HoD, they tried to adapt this detail by making the afterimage of Juste change color when he jumps and dashes. There are only three colors in this game: green, red, and black. And the red one is a rare drop.

I wonder what the chances are that this feature will return in Belmont's Curse. It would be nice if players could change the color of the new protagonist's coat; from what we can see of her design, there's a prominent blue on her back, but the rest of her design consists of black, white, and gray. So there's room to play around with cloaks mechanics.

Some old Nintendo Power scans about Dragon Quest (Warrior) 1

The HD-2D remake has been a wonderful thing. Now you see the adventure in the same way these old illustrations intended you to feel it.

Btw, I love how the magazine is so insistent on the idea of fighting a dragon.

Who is your favorite Igavania's protagonist in terms of gameplay?

There were actually fewer characters than I expected lol. I should have included secondary modes as well.

I got 200% of the Harmony of Dissonance map, as well as all the furniture and all the drops from the Rare Ghost.

I got the Rare Ghost drops legally, no save states or cheats. The Twilight Cloak was my best friend here to get some extra luck because this stupid ghost dropped the Mystic Brooch before the other lucky ring.

I also farmed up to level 53, which is the maximum you can reach before all enemies only give you one experience point. So that also helped, along with the Lucky Charm and the Lucky Ring.

I was thinking of trying to get all the drops in the game to have 100% of the encyclopedia, but I don't know. Even with the Rare Ring, this task is annoying.

[AoL] I've always wondered how people feel about this game?

I'm currently replaying Zelda II for the second time. I had already completed a fairly full playthrough of the game, but I stopped because the last Temple was very confusing. I decided I would complete it later, but I never went back.

I am currently on a second playthrough starting from scratch, I still remember many things so I haven't needed guides for the Quests, the most I've needed has been to use maps for the temples.

Although difficult, I find it quite fun. The movement mechanics are interesting, and the side-scrolling level design is engaging. I really love the magic system; I think it's the only time Link can use his own spells and not magic he evokes through artifacts.

But my god, the combat in this game is titanic. The sword's terrible range makes getting close to an enemy incredibly difficult. At least the shield works excellently, although it frustrates me a bit that it doesn't block all types of projectiles. Why can't I stop an axe with the shield?

But overall I'm having a good time. I don't think I've ever played such a stimulating Zelda game.

Despite the change Ayami Kojima made, he actually retains many of his original facial features, with just a slightly different hairstyle; his musculature and physique are also practically identical too.

I really like the hair color in Nintendo Power, it starts out dark and gradually gets lighter.
