The magnets worth anything? Anything else I should remove?
Pulled these from the motors I posted earlier. Are the magnets worth anything? Or is there anything good from these electronic components?

Pulling the windings on these isn’t too bad. Maybe 10 minutes each? But is it worth the effort? I’ve confirmed it’s copper, I just don’t know if the motor payout vs the thin copper is more profitable.
Hello! I am currently house/dog sitting (aka not my house) but a small part of the ceiling fell in this morning and the ceiling is sagging. It seems to have been getting worse throughout the day. I have been in contact with the owners of course but they have said the soonest someone can be here in tomorrow afternoon. Do I need to be worried about it getting worse?
Four years ago I had a credit score on 740. $60k in available credit. 2k in usage. 19k in the bank.
Three years ago I had to change jobs and took about a 30% pay cut. After two years of being there I managed to expel all of my funds and rack up 30k in debt.
I consolidated and paid on that loan for a year. Car broke down, swipe. Utility bill way higher than budgeted, swipe. Need groceries for the family, swipe. Kids need school clothes, swipe. Health insurance premiums, swipe. Throughout that year I paid 2k off the loan even though my payments were $900/mo. Racked up another 20k in debt.
I completely gave up paying all of it. All of my income has been going to the household. Haven’t been able to pay for insurance. Had a bad neck issue and had to go to the er. 25k bill.
I spent two months filling out all of the schedules to file chapter 7 on my own. Most of the time I was just doing research on the laws around it all. Got pretty nervous thinking about all of the avenues that this could fall through on me. I sold off some stuff and saved what I could. Found and paid a lawyer last week. Filed on Monday and got notice today that my 341 is scheduled the end of August.
I’m nervous as can be but am praying that I catch this break and can put all of this behind me. I was a young father and was very stubborn about making sacrifices for my daughter. I worked hard to give her everything she needed. She deserves it, she is a really amazing person. I think about all the could have and should have but here we are.
Wishing the best to those in similar situations. Praying for relief and looking forward to moving into the next chapter of my life.
So a resident managed to break their key in the door for the building entrance. The broken part was accidentally pushed in when they tried to retrieve it. How can I get this out, or should I have it replaced?
The grandmaster key is needed to pull the cylinder on these. Obviously I can’t get that in.
Anyone have any tips or know how on key removal?
As the title says, what is the difference between these two switches?
TLDR- My teacher isn’t teaching me the way I need to learn. Really want to get good and understand this. Where should my SLT and LLT probes go?
I’ve been lurking a while. Got my 608 in the winter and I recently got a good(?) four port smann gauge set. My regional supervisor dropped off a tank of the R410A while I wasn’t around. Today he told me to go charge the system. I’ve been doing the skill cat job ready hvac training. What he is telling me just makes absolutely no sense to me based on the understanding I’ve gathered.
These are packaged units in closets. He only ever uses one clamp on the low pressure side coming out of the evaporator and his low pressure hose connected to the low service port. How is the enough information to charge the system? He manages to do it but is he just a hack that’s winging it?
Today he jumbled out some info saying that the temp should be within 28-34. If low pressure with ODDB of 70 today is above 130 then there is an internal problem.
He is only confusing me more. English is his second language. He has been doing this for 15 years. I’m sure he knows some things but can’t really explain it.
How should I be setting up my gauges and temp probes on this system? I don’t see a way to clamp the suction line from the evaporator in this compact setup.
Please help!
I have a handful of electric dryers, top load washing machines, side by side refrigerators and otr microwaves. In the past, we have just loaded them up and scrapped for a few cents on the pound. I’m not a scrapper but an appliance tech. Is there anything worth removing from these appliances before scrapping whole? I don’t want to spend a ton of time on it but am fully capable of completely dismantling the appliances. Thank you for any productive advise.
Edit: I also have hvac blower motors. I know I can remove the copper windings but are the magnets and such worth anything? Are control boards worth anything?
I’m currently working in luxury residential maintenance. The company I am with builds, manages and maintains the communities they own. I am usually stationed at my main site. I sometimes help out at two other locations relatively close by. There are very few residents that actually give a tip on occasion. Even going above and beyond doing things outside of the norm why do so many people not think of tipping service workers!
Is this just my experience or do you other supervisors and techs find this to be true too?
Edit: I am not expecting tips nor do I accept them. It’s just shocking to me because I tip even my Amazon drivers. I’m just surprised working in a community where the average rental price is $3,200 that it’s not more of a common offer. Just wondering if you all notice this to be true too?
Edit edit: yes this is an AI image. Not trying to act as if it is me. Just an image to depict my question.
I couldn’t believe it’s been that long since I played. I wasn’t sure exactly how many years but Geesh. I came back and tried classic wow but wasn’t totally into it so I’m trying out retail wow. Any advice or suggestions?
Why does my controller temp get so much hotter than the NAND and is 60c to warm for my M.2? I have more than adequate fans and great configuration. This drive is under the heatsink for on my Z790 Aorus pro x mobo if that matters.
