Is checking this sub a part of your limerence routine?

I guess I'm on the new levels of fucked up.

I check this sub every night so I can think and talk about my LO before sleeping

For all my fellows who are limerent over someone who doesn't know they exist

I know. It's really hard at first. I always spooked them by the first impression. My first interaction with one of them was giving her a painting I had made of her. It freaked the shit out of the poor girl lol

What does No Contact mean?

Does it only mean to stop communicating with them?

What about all those things in my head? Does it include stop thinking about them too?

Or how about looking at the pictures, texts, their social media &...?

And those who have tried it, did it actually work?

Do all LO's have something in common?

Being in this sub you probably read many stories about limerent people. Have you found any similarities among most LO's? Like a certain characteristic? Or maybe it's about what the limerent person lacks in life? Any pattern you can think of?

I have found some patterns in mine.

First time I was a student and my classmate had really good marks and my admirations turned into Limerence.

Second time I was around 17. Pretty insecure about my body and had two LO's who were athletic and in great shapes.

Then I went to college and met a girl who had a high paying job while I was still unemployed. I got obsessed and I still am. I guess until l get paid enough to feel pleased, the Limerence will go on.

I assume it was all about myself, using someone in the field as a fuel to get better.

But seeing other people's posts, I think when you're at your worst, your brain gets attached to someone in order to runaway from real life. It might be just a good looking individual, nothing complicated.

What do you guys think?
