Blades of Fire is CONSTANTLY crashing in the intro? Did Sony literally added a completely untested and broken game?

So the game just got added to PS+ Extra.

I liked the demo back when it was released and almost bought the game a month ago on sale.

I'm glad I didn't. I literally CANNOT get past the intro and reach even the very first auto-save which is just after you forge your very first weapon!

The game CONSTANTLY crashes and I have repeated the intro sequence (getting out of the tunnel etc.) who knows how many times now. It always crashes at some point and I have to do the intro over and over again!

I cannot look at the intro anymore 😫!

Am I to assume that the PS5 version is completely broken somehow and Sony added a broken game into the catalog?

PS5: I haven't played it for nearly 2yrs; Why does it suddenly looks souch cleaner/sharper?

Hi everyone,

So I recently started my 2nd playthrough of the game after, like in the title, having not played it for a very long time.

I noticed that the font is now much cleaner to read (I guess they replaced it), but what I noticed the most is that the overall picture quality is a lot better?

When I played it before, it was pretty blurry overall and there was a lot of shimmering around objects and characters. All of that is gone right now.

Shimmering has disappeared, picture is far sharper and the character models look somehow better as well?

Did they do anything to the game engine in one of the updates when I was away 🤔?

PS5: I wanted to finally play Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, but the weapon finishers are broken and NEVER trigger?

I had nothing to play and reminded myself that I have Dawn of Ragnarok DLC for Valhalla m, but I never got around to playing it.

Then I reminded myself why I never did: the fact that it is pretty much impossible to see weapon finisher (the ones you trigger with a weak or strong attack, not R3).

My power level is 545. I played this game to death back in the day.

Bo matter what I do, it's impossible to trigger ANY weapon finishers at all.

I tried turning level scaling to the highest as well as making enemies health +100%, but to no avail.

It doesn't matter if I attack an enemy with weak or strong attack when their health is almost down and their stun meter as well and vice versa.

They ALWAYS simply die by a plain attack.

Parrying and attacking them doesn't do anything either.

The finishers worked without any issues at the beginning of the game though.

It made me quit the game yet again unfortunately, as the finishing animations in Valhalla were pretty damn awesome.

Long story short, basically nothing works.

Why the heck can't it be like in Origins and Odyssey where basically EVERY single last enemy during a fight was being killed with a cool finishing move?

Did one of the updates simply break those animations triggering completely?

Wolverine: Why the vast majority of gamers nowadays seem to only freaking complain about literally everything just for the sake of it :x?!

Seriously, look at the discourse around that 7-minute Wolverine gameplay drop. We literally just got everything we've been begging for: unapologetic, hyper-violent, limb-chopping, M-rated Logan. The combat looks incredibly fast, and visually, it looks more impressive than Spider-Man 2. It looked incredible!

And yet, I scroll through the comments and it's just thousands of people competing to see who can be the most miserable:

"Looks like a PS4 game." What PS4 are you playing and where can I buy one?!

"Combat looks awful." It is literally visceral adamantium shredding. What more do you want?

But the absolute peak of gamer delusion? The essays crying about Jean Grey being "ugly." I'm sorry, but if your first reaction to seeing a mutant telepath rip enemies apart is to pause the video and complain she doesn't look like a heavily modded anime waifu, you desperately need to go outside and interact with actual human women.

When did hating games become the actual game? All of you became so addicted to outrage farming and being professional critics that you can't even let yourselves enjoy an amazing game right in front of your face?

Anyway, the game looks sick! I can't wait for September. You guys stay miserable!

The DLC "evidence" posts on this sub is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in the recent months!

This sub is beyond hilarious now.

People spent literal months' coming up with ridiculous evidence of the DLC coming and it blew up so much that they started to believe it more and more until it came to a point that they cannot believe it isn't happening 🤣.

No, a random braided Beastren or a piece of text on an anniversary artwork is NOT the proof of DLC coming 😂.

We went from constant topics about "this DEFINITELY proves the DLC is coming" to crying posts of disappointment 🤦.

Why are people keep posting ridiculous, overly far-fetched DLC "confirmations"? Geez...

I am honestly astounded by the amount of posts in here with constant ridiculous "confirmations" of the incoming DLC.

There's no confirmation of anything. No, the anniversary art with a guy standing with his back to us and a braid haircut doesn't mean DLC, neither does the text in a similar art or anywhere in the game itself.

Deal with it finally.

I absolutely love this series myself as well, but this has become absolutely ridiculous and hilarious at this point.

Having to treat walking down a UK street like a tactical evasion mission because pavement etiquette doesn't exist.

Seriously, how do people in this country manage to walk? I am just trying to get from A to B without having to play full-contact human dodgeball every five seconds. It feels like despite driving on the left, we have absolutely zero rules for the pavement. It’s just a total free-for-all of people wandering around with zero spatial awareness.

Every time I head out, I’m forced to deal with people who stop dead in their tracks right in the middle of a narrow path or a shop doorway to stare blankly at their phones, totally oblivious to the traffic jam they just caused. Then you get the absolute geniuses who violently pivot 180 degrees because they suddenly remembered a shop they wanted to go into, walking straight into your chest without so much as a glance over their shoulder.

And don't even get me started on the human walls—groups of friends who insist on walking shoulder-to-shoulder at a snail's pace, apparently completely blind to the trail of frustrated people trying to overtake them. Combine that with the awkward left-right pavement dance you have to do with oncoming traffic because nobody knows which side to stick to, and it is genuinely exhausting.

Honestly, I feel like the only actual player character left on the server, desperately dodging a bunch of background characters running on broken, low-budget NPC code.

PS5: Is fathier betting basically broken? I bet on a winning "horse" and NEVER get the payout!

So I just started playing Outlaws 2 days ago.

I decided to try gaining some extra money by betting in "horses".

EVERY single time I bet on a horse which literally visually crosses the finish line first Kay just says "oh, maybe next time" etc. and I NEVER get the reward I should get for them.

Literally EVERY single betting race I win I lose.

What is going on here?
