We have not seen our girl this dark (bottom right) before. I know they get lighter as the shed, but could she be in shed? She isn’t in blue. But maybe in the process of shed. I know some reptiles can change color with their temperature and temperament, but do snakes?

Got this gem at HD for $30! Repotted and I’m in love!!! Had to hand clean EACH leaf. My 11th DR.
My monstera started to get root rot. I saw it through the moss pole. When I went to clean everything and add her to a cedar plank, I discovered the root ball was almost all rotted, or too crowded to consider leaving it that way. This is what i have left. Can she survive with this small root system being 4 feet tall with 12” leaves or should I chop and prop??
These roots are all firm and have been cleaned.

I have several desert roses but after doing research, one looks more like an Arabicum. The one that looks like an Arabicum has little bumps that look like it wants to push out new stems. The leaves on this desert rose are different from my others as well. Here are a couple of pictures of both “looks”. Let me know what you think. First pic you can see the bump.
