where else could Kel'Thuzad have been resurrected?

an acolyte says only places with powerful ley-energies. the Sunwell was one – were there others? if so, theoretically where or what were they?

how does Kerrigan split control with her queens?

when she got de-zerged on her own homeworld, she presumably immediately lost all control of her brood. did they then immediately automatically came under her broodmothers? why didn't they immediately turn feral and let loose, the terrans too over Char seemingly with little to no resistance. i mean i know Zagara had to run for cover from the Gorgon cruisers.

but actually how does the control hierarchy work, i mean obviously kerrigan at the top but mothers like Zagara, Kylisa, and their other sisters (lol) would they have their own broods? does kerrigan have her own or is she a solo queen – i.e. does she offload all command to her queens? so that if anything happened to her the brood would still be under control?

how is this any different than when Zasz was killed and the Garm brood had to be culled?

Illidan shouldn't have lost the Frozen Throne

sorry it is bothering me for some time now but Illidan had conquered Outland at this point and had the Draenei (i guess Akama could lend a hand?) the Naga and the Blood Elves (frail though they may be). mathematically he really shouldn't have lost?

where were his Outland demons anyway? couple of felguards & doom guards & the Draenei coupled with the Naga, the BEs could sit this one out and Illidan should've won. there couldn't have been that many undead left at Icecrown, the Lich King had some kinda cancer for goodness' sake.

i guess my real question is where were his allies he supposedly gathered? also while we're at it can we discuss strategy, Illidan could've just sat back let Arthas take all 4 obelisks and move in at the last second (which he did, anyway).

siphoner would be OP in the originals

could a siphoner remove curses?

would they have been able to save Kieran?

what about the werewolf curse placed by dahlia or even inadu?

what about Rebekah's curse from the Strix dagger?

what if they absorbed davina in season 1 when she was the last harvest girl with all the power? could it have saved her?

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: what about the Serratura! could they have saved Tristan?

how do you "become" the supreme witch?

yes the 7 wonders. BUT! do you become the Supreme upon performing all 7 wonders for the first time or must it be ceremonial (i.e. in front of the coven)? if you were the upcoming Supreme, if you performed the 7 wonders in your bedroom alone do you suddenly become the Supreme immediately? and if at the time the old Supreme was at a grocery store would she suddenly pass out and lose her powers?

in S3 cordelia only became the Supreme and got her eyes magically fixed the moment she came back from Descensum. it seemed like the powers flowed into her the moment she performed her last Wonder.

also: what if the destined Supreme refuses to acknowledge and absolutely refuses to perform the 7 wonders? what happens then?

Joe has crazy self-restraint

just an appreciation post but i love these little details and i love Zoe for this role. Joe knows she can be very in-your-face and that can sometimes trigger hits but she restraints herself.

there are many instances she takes the hits for free.

off the top of my head, in Season 1 when Cruz hits her on the boat at the end. RESTRAINT. the first hit was free. she immobilises her and asks her "what did i do? what did i do?".

in Season 2 when Carillo starts ranting at her she takes it. she's actually pretty nice about it. Carillo grabs her to stop her from walking and you can tell Joe's pissed someone's putting their hands on her but all she says? "then do your job."

it's only when Carillo shoves her — and this is my favorite part — that she actually uses one hand to grab Carillo by the shirt just to stop her from moving and to fully receive all 2 hits she wants to give her. this is crazyyyyyyy!!!!!!! 2 hits! with 1 hand to hold you in place so you don't fly after the first hit cus i'm not done with you!

i am pathologically addicted to this show. and Zoe Saldaña.

ELI5: kidnapping of Hernandez?

okay fine i'm an idiot and i'm slow BUT i still wanna know. let me know if i got this right.

China is using their MSS agent to get a Mexican cartel to kidnap Hernandez. they kept her just a half hour from the border for 24H to test the US reaction and influence the coming election?

as a subplot, US figured out Iran was behind the human trafficking at the border

and the US (final) response is to mess with the Iran border and assassinate their nuclear physicists who graduated from MIT

am i getting this right?

was Kaitlyn a soldier?

surely to get to her position she must've earned it? plus, heading the Lioness program, she's got to have some kind of field experience? unknown if it was ever conveyed or implied in the show. realistically in real life would she have that experience?

someone military explain the air support scene

rewatching season 1 and everything is as amazing as it was the first time. there is this scene in the beginning Joe calls in for support from the air, what does it mean?

"Hawk 3-3 this is Alabama 2-7 with an immediate cas request, over" (..)

"Hawk 3-3, control type 2, guns only on target from the overhead, enemy pax in the open, 270 degrees for 100 meters, marked by yellow smoke, danger close on my command"

some of it is pretty self explanatory but explain it anyway. also, how did they get the air support so damn fast? was it already in the air when she called? is it real-life accurate?

EDIT: also, how was it they could just fly an airplane in there and not risk any anti-air? was it already US territory?

EDIT 2: what the HELL did Joe call down when she bombed her asset ? was it an air strike?

can we take a moment to appreciate Esther

Esther didn't just turn her children into vampires. essentially, her magic created creatures who beget an entire vampire lineage, who all inherited blood that healed wounds, whose immortal bodies could become generators for spells, whose innate nature could compel humans, thus far i haven't even mentioned the strength and speed. the Strix, the 1000-year history, subraces of vampires like Antoinette who live in the dark, and even the accidental act of turning a born werewolf into a vampire, the first Hybrid. it's the magic that keeps on magicking. the engineering is amazing.

why couldn't Dahlia perform the immortality spell by Qetsiyah?

i'm a bit lost in the lore by now but it's done before surely she could do it again? but wouldn't it be amazing to have Dahlia doppelgangers lol. but wait there wouldn't BE doppelgangers cus Dahlia would never procreate, she hates men thus no descendants. as Freya said she has 0 love in her for anyone except her sister? stop me if i'm spiralling

how do you actually play Go Fish?

during the government shutdown Selina met Furlong and they bantered a bit, they got to favorite card games and Selina offered to play Go Fish. she asked for Furlong's Queen, he gave her the "boxes full of dirt". she then asked him for his King and it's a future position in the next administration.

can someone break this scene down? i got lost in the hypotheticals lol (also i've never played Go Fish so i hope someone is kind enough to ELI5 that)

how accurate is Veep in terms of legislation/procedure?

i figured aside from the comedy and satire Veep might actually be a good resource to learn US legislation & government procedure, and maybe some history.

how accurate is Veep anyway? what parts did they get wrong/were made up? like is it true the amendments during a tie proceed to a House vote and the candidate Vice President becomes elected President via a backdoor? does the Veep stay in EEOB and not the West Wing? is the President allowed to sleep with members of her staff? can she really make anyone Secretary of State? how do Senators know if the President would keep their word and uphold their promises in exchange for their support on bills?

What about the Jeffersons – does such a party exist? do senators really get in a group and do group votes in alignment with everyone in said group to help each other? what such groups exist?

also are foreign interference(s) really as common as it was portrayed? lol

surprisingly nobody hit each other?

with how in your face they can get in the show, i'm surprised nobody took to their fists. that's quite some self restraint
