Since, both properties are technically owned by Universal (since DreamWorks is owned by them) do you guys wanna see a crossover with these two?
I mean it already gives off main character vibes. Yeah ik this guy not at all important to the film's narrative but imagine a Land Before Time IS (Roman Numeral for 1 1/2), basically Lion King 1 and a Half but LBT. I mean c'mon I imagine them being voiced by Timon's voice actor (the original film's Timon not remake Timon, a.k.a. Nathan Lane).
My idea for when LBT IS takes place, is between after Littlefoot's birth and slightly after the events of the first LBT but before the events of LBT II: Great Valley Adventure. For the plot? Well, Suri (an unofficial nickname I gave them which comes from Suricate another word for Meerkat) goes to investigate onto why an earthquake is happening while dealing with Scarsnout (a male Dryptosaurus who has a you guessed it, a scar on the right side of his snout) and forming a new group of dinosaurs. Also Suri was the reason why the OG Sharptooth attacked LF and Cera in the film, all because of the rex seeing Suri as food. Suri and 4 new characters embark on a journey to Saurus Rock to find out the cause of the earthquake while Scarsnout is hot on their tracks.
Also, Scarsnout doesn't die, perhaps if this idea becomes real maybe Scarface could return in a potential Land Before Time XV as THE main antagonist of that film and perhaps Suri reuniting with Littlefoot?
Also, a little off-topic but what kind of creature is it supposed to be? I wanna say Ornitholestes.

This is one of my more out there questions.
So, many people though the Plated Sharptooth from V was a Giganotosaurus. Well, a storyboard for V from 1996 had revealed that Plates was actually a Carnotaurus. So yeah Plates vs Chomper's parents would've been the very first T. rex v. Carno fight in movies which kinda makes the JW:FK Carno look even weaker due Rexy (a T. rex) killing it.
First off, what is Speculative Evolution? Speculative Evolution or Spec Evo is subgenre of hard sci-fi in where it puts life in certain scenarios like "What if Dragons are real?" or "What if the asteroid that killed the non-avian dinosaurs never happened?". Well if I did Spec Evo Mixels, should they all be one species or be 81 different species (note: I am only doing the main Mixels so no Booger)?
I did the Diggasaurus, I based it on a Shunosaurus.
The eyes feel too wonky but their older art predate AI (unless you count GAN as AI) one person in another says they're not AI generated. Though the artist mentions of an AI paint-bot.

I gave it rust to give off the illusion of wrinkles and I also named them Rusty (ik a bit bland). I picture that Revvit looks up them and perhaps they secret work for D-Strux but later had a change of heart because of how Revvit felt betrayed by them.
I repurposed the tail into a light and made up a new type of Reptool called the Lightools.
I am a mod for a Land Before Time subreddit and I like Dinotrux has much as LBT. I'll do a little thing involving the two franchises eventually.

First of all yes it could be a coincidence that they have similar traits not proof that LBT and Jurassic Park are in the same universe.

These two like I said maybe generic background creatures, but what if I told you that they're prototypes of the main villain dinosaur of Jurassic World, the Indominus rex. Don't believe me?
Look at the Indominus, notice some things?
Yes they all have rounded snouts with hands with possibly 4 fingers (though it's a bit hard to tell with the former two if they had four fingers or not). So, what if Wu had added Spinosaurus (the Rebirth ones) DNA alongside the Giga DNA (as I mean by Giga I mean by the JP/JW one) thus giving them more of a finned appearance. But, Henry Wu realizing they have flaws not too unlike the Scorpios rex prior. Wu, not wanting to get waste such valuable assets had placed them onto the Great Valley and maybe recapture them one day.
Also this guy may also be an Indom prototype, but that's another can of worms.
Yep, I've decided to post something after what it felt been a while. So here.
Let's just say we were to teleport their respective villains (Sharptooth and the Fire Wolf) out of their respective worlds and put them into the other's. What would happen? Short answer: Hell would break loose in both worlds.
Why? Well, to begin the Fire Wolf is literally on fire and the state of the Land Before Time in the first film would make it easier for him to destroy it. Also, without the Dzo pods, he'd go on a frenzy killing anything in his path, like remember what happened to Ivy?
As for Sharptooth in Swapped, well as he's highly aggressive and is said to be sadistic in the novel. And, I'm I doubt even a Dzo could defeat him, though if it were a group of Dzo that'd be different question. I am pretty he'd attack Ollie and Ivy at every opportunity he could if he did get transformed.
This post will go (somewhat) in-depth with all of the hadrosaurs that've appeared in the first Land Before Time film.
Before we begin let's begin with the out-of-universe history of the group. The Hadrosauridae (or simply Duck-billed dinosaurs) was a family of bird-hipped dinosaurs that was named and described by E.D. Cope (yes the same Edward Drinker Cope who placed an Elasmosaurus head on where its tail should be) in 1869. They appeared at around 86.3 MYA and disappeared alongside the other non-avian dinosaurs during the end of the Cretaceous.
Now for the in-universe species. Which the Hadrosaurs have 2 to 3 species that've appeared in the first film. Why did I say 2 to 3? Well a certain main character puts a wrench as in very early concept art that species was Anatosaurus (an old name of Edmontosaurus) but the official site says Parasaurolophus but the design says Saurolophus. So that's why, but let's start off with the our first species shall we?
Trachodon
Though a dubious genus nowadays, but this species did appear in this film as a brief cameo in the Littlefoot's birth scene. It was shown as a greenish brown upright bipedal creature with an underbite. And if the size of it shown in the film is its adult size, that'll mean that the Trachodon is the smallest hadrosaur in not only in the first film, but in the entire Land Before Time universe. Though, it's possible that the individual depicted in said scene is actually a juvenile not a full grown adult. But due to it being dubious a better modern replacement would be Edmontosaurus.
Saurolophus
This is the species that has said main character, which in concept they had bounced back and forth between Anatosaurus and Saurolophus. But also the Land Before Website says that Ducky is a Parasaurolophus. So, this species may or may not exist. The species represented in the film is most likely S. osborni.
Parasaurolophus
Lastly we go the Para, it is sometimes shown in scenes with the Saurolophus. Though it had received two design changes since the first film. The species represented in the film is most like P. walkeri.
Though both creatures have little to no info on them bc of them only appearing for a scene but who would win between the Eryops from I (we're gonna assume that the big blue lizard looking guy is an Eryops bc of Meraxesgigasfan) and the Ichthyostega from III (yes III's script confirms it to be Ichthyostega). It'll be a fight to the death. So, who'll make it out alive and who'll die?
So, since Dimetrodon had only appeared in the first LBT with 3 distinct designs (even 4 or 5 if the fin-back lizard pair from LF's birth are also Dimetrodons) and had never reappeared since. This is what leads to my theory that all of the Dimetrodon species (which we're gonna assume there's 13 of them like IRL) are extinct and these 3 were the last of their respective species.
But, first what species are each of them? We're gonna assume the pointy sailed one is D. grandis bc it's the most popular. For the round sail (which some mistake it for Edaphosaurus for some reason) I would say D. teutonis but that species was described in 2001, so D. milleri it is. Finally is the green one which I'll assume it's D. loomisi.
So, I think that after film 1, all of them are dead (the round sail most definitely bc we saw it being killed on-screen by the earthquake or at least implied). Bc why would there be no signs of a Dimetrodon from II onwards? Perhaps they all were endlings and were killed either by Sharptooth or by the environment itself. How did they end in this situation to begin with?
Well, maybe this will get VERY dark and depressing. They were relicts from a far older time from when the proto-mammals ruled. The proto-mammals were at peace, but then the first dinosaur had appeared they did not care about the proto-mammals' pacifistic ways. And the dinosaurs began to destroy their once perfect paradise and the protests and cries of several proto-mammals were silenced. This eventually lead to the banishment of all proto-mammals by the dinosaurs and any proto-mammal who resists is killed on sight by the terrible lizards. Many proto-mammal families were torn apart, babies being taken from their mothers. Kept going on until there was 3 individuals of a once large culture left.
So, the next time you watch the 1st LBT just think about those 3 Dimetrodons as they're the true victims of this film.
