A significant controversy has happened in round 23 every year since 2023 when round 24 was implemented.

This is a bit of a crows centric theory I had but now with the swans incident this weird trend has continued but moreso for the league as a whole now. All these events have happened in round 23:

2023: The Ben Keays non reviewed goal happend which was a massive media storm and ended the crows season. As well as a massive discussion around the review system (which still changes all the time to this day).

2024: Both the Rachele teethgate thing happened as well as Dan Houston's massive hit on Rankine which caused a massive fight in showdown 56 and got Houston suspended for all of the finals. All while he was in trade rumours the whole time.

2025: The Rankine slur towards Issac Quaynor incident which was also a massive media shitstorm, and larger discussion towards homophobia in the sport in general.

2026: Basically everything that has just happened with the Sydney swans in the last couple of days.

I love the Contraband in this game, but I wish it was a bit more fleshed out

I've always loved the idea of the contraband in the game, and I love the lore of why each of the items are banned, unfortunately the system is really basic. It essentially just amounts to special loot you can never get the full value of even with all the merchant perks that you have to either just haul off at The Den/Red Mile/The Key or do a percentage check on getting onto the other hubs with shielded cargo.

I wish each of the items had real-world effects of selling. Or certain individuals willing to pay the full price for them.

  • Black Market Antiquities/Stolen Artwork - I imagine these could be sold in secret to very wealthy corporate types on Neon
  • Harvested Organs - I always imagine could've been something really in demand in the med bay in the Well or just the dingy parts of Neon in general.
  • Mech Components/Xenowarfare Tech/Sentient Ai Adapters - These are the three I could kinda see a system of sorta changing the world if you made more available in circulation. Like imagine if you kept selling Mech Components and certain enemy groups now had access to a mech enemy type. Or of you sold the xeno tech they would have access to certain alien creatures. The AI adaptors could make the rogue robots more common as an enemy type.
  • Va'ruun Heretic Writings - Should have been treated like the Mankar Cameron commentaries in oblivion with certain individuals who are or are not affiliated with them trying to get their hands on them. Maybe even just straight up House Va'ruun sleeper agents in the cities willing to buy them for top dollar
  • Aurora - There should have been dealers in all the other hubs giving you good money to try to smuggle it to them.

I think it was a missed opportunity to not have a rendition of the old boston garden in Fallout 4

So in the NBA and NHL the old boston garden is kind of a a legendary venue that was notoriously hard for away teams to play at. It was torn down in 1995 in favour of the new TD Garden but it would have been cool to see the universe where it stayed up.

Considering the game references the curse of the bambino as never being been broken in the fallout universe. Even as a lakers fan it would have been funny to see the opposite with the celtics basically never slowing down after their 1960s dynasty and having an absolute shitload of championship banners in it.
