Shockingly, the nicest feeling glove in the 30ish gloves I've had over the past 18 months

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Grace gloves, but this one in particular is special. All my Grace gloves have been at least HOH/A2000 quality, but this one is every bit as nice as the two Pro Preferred models I've had.

[FS/FT] Grace CM33, Grace 1B, Rawlings 204

SOLD Grace 1B - Hinges worked, pocket needs a ton more work. Narrower feeling than a Rawlings DCT pattern. Asking $130 shipped.

SOLD Grace CM33 - 33", hinges fully broken in. Pocket 90% broken in. Japanese style pattern, my favorite catchers mitt pattern I've tried thus far. This was a custom, so there is a number 11 embroidered on it. Asking $140 shipped.

Rawlings PRO204 - 11.5" single post from Don Morton. Non-R2G, broken in somewhat single hinge, traditional finger out. Works well with TIP also. Asking $230 shipped.

Will consider trades for a Timberglaze glove and/or tan American style catchers mitt like a Rawlings CM33/CM43/YM4/etc.

The classics never go out of style

Pretty sure this glove is the picture in the dictionary for baseball glove

I absolutely adore this glove

Took exactly the shape I wanted after a water dunk. Glove feels like a tank! The leather shined up real nice with a coat of Obenaufs LP conditioner.

Want a comfier ride that can handle some potholes - Enkei EDR9/DWS06

*I know 17" is more popular as a compromise between looks and comfort/durability, but I would like to go to 16" for peace of mind and comfort on long ass drives.

Looking for a comfier ride that can handle the hellscape that is Chicago winter potholes. Wanting to move from the factory 18x7 w/ 215/45 tires to the setup shown in the screenshot. Enkei EDR9 16x7 with DWS06 205/55. Any issues with the +38 offset to get the aesthetics where I want? Any thoughts? I'm new to this stuff, so guidance is much appreciated!

An update on seller guidelines

Hey everyone! We have noticed an influx of new posts that are missing timestamps. Thus far, we have been pretty chill about it by commenting in threads with a reminder and allowing threads to stay up to give OP's time to add one. Going forward, we will be removing these posts without warning. We welcome posts being resubmitted with the proper information, as we want this community to keep growing.

We understand seller guidelines were somewhat tucked away in the Wiki, so we have added Rule 5 to make it easier to find the seller guidelines.

A couple of recent break-ins

  1. Grace custom 11.75" that I decided to just have fun with the shaping/break-in. Shape is lovely, IMO, and it turned out to be a really fun glove to play with. Wearing TIP and it is super enjoyable to close.

  2. Rawlings 204 single post where I did the opposite of everything I usually do. Tight fingers instead of loose, minimal shaping to the fingers, and wearing traditional finger out with a single hinge. Wouldn't be the way I broke in my one and only glove, but it's definitely fun to have in the collection.

How reliable have the oldest Gen 4 models been so far?

I think it's well established that the Gen 3 models are extremely reliable. Have the oldest Gen 4's shown a propensity for any additional issues due to the addition of more electronics/sensors?

NGD - Grace Classic Stock 1B

Wife wants a custom Grace 1B mitt, so I had to pick up a stock one to try the pattern out. Nothing beats a DCT, but I'm liking this the more I break it in.

Toilet won't complete flush even when holding flapper open through entire flush cycle

Pretty much what the title says. Helping my sister who lives out of state, so I don't know the history of the toilet, but she says the toilet had a strong flush at one point. I've got the float adjusted so the water fills right to the top of the overflow pipe, but the flush still won't complete even if I hold the flapper open the entire cycle. It seems like it needs more water in the tank to get the flush going, but the overflow pipe won't let me get more water in the tank.

Think I've got my break-in process down

Breaking in a catchers mitt used to take me a couple weeks of work. Due to my compulsive B/S/T of gloves, I've finally broken in enough mitts that I've got my process down pat. This break-in took about three hours of work.

Question about sink shut off valve - going on road trip

I'm headed on a two week road trip here in 6 hours. Long story short, my MIL is staying, so she needs the water on for sink/bathroom/etc. However, she does not have the mobility to go upstairs, so I shut down the toilet/sink valves upstairs. The cold water valve on one of the upstairs sinks started dripping when I went to close it. I cranked it down and it's been dry for about an hour.

If it's still dry here in a few hours, can I trust it for a couple weeks?
