Spypoint (or any brand) trail camera with built in SIM that I can remotely (phone) disable reliably?

Hi Everyone,

I own two Spypoint cameras that I love, except that I can't disable remotely. I have friends/family visit the property somewhat regularly, and it's getting annoying (for everyone) to keep reminding people to turn on/off the camera when arriving/leaving.

Best I can do remotely is set the duration between detections to the max; if I disable the camera remotely there is risk it won't work after.

Currently have the older Flex model with built in solar panel and SIM card.

Need some clarification regarding controlled deer hunt

A friend of mine is slowly making his way through the system (busy guy) has been given permission to hunt on a property that has a controlled deer hunt. We had planned to apply to the draw as a group.

He needs to get his Hunter Education validated to enter the controlled deer hunt. I don't think he can pull it off in time.

I have all of my stuff in order, what are our options if I apply as an individual? Basically asking: If he eventually buys a deer license, can he tag along with me?

Also: I have my PAL. I don't think he will get around to that this season. Can he hunt with a crossbow, while I hunt with a shotgun? The WMU regulations allow either.

Our effective range will be similar, unless I buy a new shotgun or figure out some kind of optic/rifle sight for my Grandpa's pump with a bead.

Valve Inspection Cover O-Ring: New vs Old

I just wanted to double check: my brand new O-Ring/Gasket (I bought 2 sets of 2) are quite a bit rounder than the gasket I took off. They they don't stay in place quite as nicely. I did read they do flatten over time. I just want to be sure this is everyone else's experience too.

The part number on the bags matches the parts finder for Partzilla and Fortnine.

Kind of a dumb question: Oil leaking from valve inspection covers caught fire on exhaust, will normal oil do this, or does this confirm I have some fuel mixing in?

I had been riding my 2022 DR650 about 10 minutes on residential roads. I forgot to torque the valve inspection covers down (long story), so oil was coming out significantly. Only the oil directly touching the exhaust caught fire. I am cleaning my carb regardless, but was just curious what others have experienced or think.

Thanks!

Ideas for a PVP vampire ruler/hero focused build...

I am not overly into rushing, so peaking around turn 75 (give or take 10 turns) is perfect. Avoiding hard counters before that is not a terrible idea, or at least anticipating them.

Turns 5-20 tend to have some intense scout battles, sometimes this ramps up with a double stack of scouts or a scout and T1 summon etc. I like to have a clear Stage I and Stage II pivot/transition, and if the game goes into +100 turns I am more open going with counter-tomes/strategies than a set plan.

Cult of personality and early Item forge with some aggressive/risky node clearing usually gets me ahead in the ruler/hero levels/power curve. Building towards auto resolve resiliency helps . I love Shepherd for my ruler's profession typically. It seems broken with CoP and mystic summoning...sooo many skill points.

With vampire and cult of personality it seems gold will be in demand.

I want to push my ruler/hero level curve even further, my troops being more support/fodder than typical.

I am not a huge fan of a full necro build, I sometimes dip my toes to be able to resurrect a hero (early item forge to counter fire/spirit is important) from the first free city, and pair them with a necromancer. Having a ruler with 2 heroes running around very early is intoxicating. I have an aversion to poison focused builds, but I am willing to try something new.

Immortals seem like a natural pairing, they are sacrificial but keep coming back...

Context: filed 2020-2022 with Wealthsimple. 2023 was done by a goofball in February (2026), so I don't have access to the paperwork submitted currently.

I am working on 2024 myself, I need the info for the section of boxes that starts with:

"Variable B amount of your annual FHSA limit for 2023"

I follow the instructions of looking at my NOA for 2023, but all of the fields are 2025/2026, not 2023/2024.

I triple checked that the NOA I am looking at is for 2023.
