Sorry for the dumb question, but what happened to Perrin the sniffer?

Currently on Crossroads of Twilight. Perrin and his motley crew have spent a while looking for Faile, much of that time spent not really sure what direction to move in or how far the Shaido are.

What happened to his sniffer powers he showcased in The Great Hunt? He was able to track Padan Fain miles and miles away.

Side note: whatever happened to Hurin? I don’t remember the last time he showed up but I hope he’s doing well.

Switching my 32” OLED from its stand to a monitor arm… how?

I’m aware OLED’s are stupidly fragile. So how exactly do I attach it to the arm as safely as possible? Do I lay it flat, attach the arm, and then attach to the desk? Or arm to the desk first, then monitor? Any tips appreciated

Help me decide: MSI MPG 322URX or MPG 322UR x24

I’ve seen that they’re largely the same monitor, with the x24 featuring the sensor based dimming for burn-in protection, and Dark Armor film helping with both durability and ambient light. These seem like very nice features to have but are they worth the extra money + limited availability? Are there other things I should be aware of? Thanks yall.

Obligatory “I Beat The Game” Post

I only played Gen 3 growing up, so I’m on a mission to play through the entire series. Just beat Platinum!

Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I’m playing Pokemon Black through retroarch on my PC. I also have retroarch on my 3DS. Is there any way to easily transfer the save file between systems without constantly moving my SD Card back and forth? So I could play a bit on PC, then if I want to play on the go, just grab the 3DS and it’s the same save? Does that make sense?

▲ 3 r/3DS

Hey yall forgive me if this is a dumb question - totally new to this. I’m buying a secondhand 2DS with the intention to mod it, it’s already been factory reset. I also bought a 32gb Micro SD to replace the old one.

On the 3DS Hacks Guide website they say:

>”It is highly recommended to only use one SD card with a console at any given time, as you cannot merge the contents of two SD cards later on. So, if your console already has an SD card, you should use that SD card to mod your console, or copy everything to a larger SD card before or after you mod it.”

Is that for people with data already saved on their device? And in my instance, I could just swap the cards and then begin modding? Or is there something else I should be aware of? Thanks for any help!

edit: reddit changed formatting i guess? lol

Getting into emulation and 3DS Modding for the first time so forgive my lack of understanding. Considering getting an LL because they are usually cheaper than a 3DS, but I’ve read that region hacking removes access to things that require Pokemon online services like Pokemon Bank. I understand you can use the HShop to get Bank, but will it still be able to upload to Nintendo’s cloud?

I eventually want to get a Pokemon from an emulator onto Pokemon Home, and want to make sure there isn’t a hitch in the workflow before I start shelling out hundreds of dollars lmao. Thanks for any info.
