The city was pushed for a deadline because all of these projects might not get done with a Democrat controlled house. On the surface it seems fine but once you get into the details that's where it gets messy. Corporations will find ways to essentially hold townships hostage.
If these candidates are so focused on who wants to represent us, then why haven't they scheduled any public or formal debates? Stop all of these social media jabs back and forth and get your asses on the stage and speak to the voters!!
Brownsville continues to grow
Two Democrats in Congress who flipped Republican-held seats in 2024 are launching a pledge for their party’s candidates they hope will act as a rallying cry for centrists, calling for a “politics of persuasion over purity” and declaring that “we are capitalist, not socialist.”
The pledge is a direct rebuke to the party’s leftward tilt as democratic socialists such as New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) capture the party’s energy and activism.
Rep. Tom Suozzi (D-New York) and Rep. Adam Gray (D-California) said they will unveil the pledge Wednesday afternoon at the center-left conference WelcomeFest, and hope to get candidates up and down the ballot to join them in signing it. As Democrats wrestle with their identity heading into the midterms and 2028 presidential race, the effort marks moderates’ latest bid to assert themselves.

I was always intrigued to see what it would have been like with Maverick flying and Viper as his RIO. What kind of inflight lessons would he have learned while having Viper in his ear? Especially when they lost control, Viper would have been the one who could keep Maverick cool. Or Viper getting injured during the flight and Maverick having to make a decision to stay in it like his Dad or retreat and save Viper and his aircraft??
This decision sparks a serious debate on how districts are drawn and redrawn. This is basically opening up the flood gates to complaints and other states following suit. I can a majority of states ending up in court as this thing plays out.
