How do you rewire your brain to put your love and energy in yourself vs another person?

As INFJs we tend to prioritize others before ourselves. If you have succeeded in pouring into your own cup vs others, how did you do it and do you still feel complete loving yourself instead of someone else?

Bonnie Blue’s baby shower outrage

What Bonnie Blue did for her baby shower is disgusting and has a lot of people commenting disgust on her posts. A lot of the comments mention that the unborn baby deserves better and that CPS needs to be involved as soon as the baby is born. It makes me wonder how many of these people are pro-choice and are appalled by this, but are perfectly okay with killing a baby while in the mother’s womb.

Parking for night time classes/exams

Is a permit required? I usually park at the old campus book mart, but if I can park a little closer during night time hours that would be great!

Did housing rates for GI Bill go down?

I’ve been getting paid $1542 a month for my VRE program (the post 9/11 rate since I qualify for it). I just got my enrollment verification letters in and the rate has gone down by $132. It’s now at $1410. I thought rates increase with inflation?

Do I apply for temp 100% for the same condition that’s currently still in review?

Hi all! I recently filed a claim for a shoulder labrum tear. It’s still in the evidence review stage of the claim. I am having surgery on it on Tuesday where Inwill have to be in a sling for at least 4 weeks. I believe this qualifies me for the temp 100% rating. I do understand that this claim will only be approved on the basis my other claim is granted for a service connection, just need to know I’m not going to shoot myself in the foot by claiming the increase while the other is still processing.

Current student with loan payments on pause. Enrolled in SAVE, if I apply for a new plan, will my current enrollment status still keep my payments paused?

Basically title. Seeing a lot of hiccups with systems doing silly things, have any current students already switched off the SAVE plan? What was the process like?

Tie Breaker Consultation

NMIP

Hey it’s me again! I had a virtual analysis with a well know CA and an in person one with another well known CA. Both had different outcomes. One typed me as a bright spring and the other as a true winter. I just did another in person analysis with another consultant I find very knowledgeable and was so glad he broke the tie for me (rather than giving me something completely different than the first two.)
The result TRUE WINTER!

Now I know a lot of you see my photo and don’t agree with that. There’s a couple of things to note here. While a lot of people can look like a typical season, it’s important to note that your season is truly based on the drapes. My latest CA really thought I would be a deep season. And both in person sessions, they both tried really hard to connect me to a warm season. But warm colors are not good on me. They make me look yellow and sick. And to be a deep or a bright you need to be able to also either wear autumn or spring well. And I just don’t. Most people are flow seasons, but I sit pretty defined within the winter season. While the deep winter colors do well to connect with my dark hair, they make my face go a little dull, and while the bright colors do make my skin look luminous, the color looks a little disconnected from my hair. I feel like my best colors with the Ca agreeing were darker shiny colors.

Anywho, thought I’d give an update and just give a psa for everyone on here that you really just can’t post a photo and tell people to type you. Drapes are really important and IRL drapes will always give better results.

Where would I post room availability?

I’m currently renting a 3 bedroom apartment with my husband and two kids. Hubby told me he’s thinking of taking a job in another state while I finish my degree. Was thinking of renting out the third bedroom for the upcoming school year. Where’s the best place to list?

VRE Enrollment Verification

Hello, does anyone know of a way I can check that my enrollment for my upcoming semesters (3 summer terms) has been sent to the VA for continued benefits/BAH? I have called and emailed my counselor a few times, but haven’t heard a response. I have not received any letters in the mail regarding it so that’s why I’m a little worried. My spring semester ended on the 13th and the unverified Maymester starts the 19th.

I tweaked my left arm during PT while I was in the service. I went to medical for it. They treated the pain and didn’t really do anything else to see what happened to it. The pain went away at that time, but every so often I would get pain in my arm again. Almost feeling like nerve pain going from my shoulder down to my wrist. When these flare ups happen, I would think it’s because I slept on it wrong or something.

Well after years of having this on and off pain, it finally got to a point where it would not go away… even after 3 steroid shots and PT. The ortho doctor ordered a MRI and come to find out I have a tear in the back of my shoulder labrum. I have not done anything recently to cause such an injury. The doctor stated that such an injury could go unnoticed for years. Which is now why I think this is from that PT incident, and he confirmed that it was likely. (I know that it would still be an uphill battle to prove this).

Here’s the thing. I want to get surgery for it. He thought that the third steroid shot would make the pain go away and for the inflammation to go down enough for it to scar up and heal on its own. It has not. All the treatment for it is going through the VA (I am currently rated at 60%).

I know that once the surgery happens, the rating would most likely be 0%, but if I did my intent to file now, what would happen if the the exam happened after the surgery? In all honesty I’m just trying to get a temporary increase during my down time (4-8w weeks) so I can pay someone to help with the things Inwont be able to do during that period.
