In search of a Harrymort fic

I don't have the link, unfortunately. It is a fic about fem Harry and Voldemort(snake looking). They marry to end the war. At first Harry says, that Voldy is disgusting but eventually she warms up. Summary says something like «I just don't understand, my little wife, how did you managed to live that long». It is about an occasion when Harry was standing in the garden under the rain and Voldemort came to see her, she decided to go away but slipped and he caught her before she hurt herself. Then she got sick because she was under the rain and felt like she was dying and just laid in bed, missing their planned dinner. Voldy came to see why she didn't come and, when he saw why, he gave her a potion to cure her. He then wanted to leave her, but his hand was so nice and cold that fem Harry asked him to stay with her until she fell asleep. They then attend some ball, after which goes some smut and then a timeskip and it turns out that she got pregnant. The fics ends with her passed out on the couch and Voldemort reading to their daughter. I can remember Voldy thought sth like «Thankfully, the kid seems to prefer it's mother»

I remember that fic is named A Tale As Old As Mine, but it may be that I misread it the whole time and it was A Tale As Old As Time. I really want to reread it

Isolde's hat pins

Not so long ago I encountered a tiktok video explaining about womens' hat pins and now I want to share this information with you.

Hat pins were popular in early 20th century. A hat pin was used to hold a hat in place, normally it was 7 inches(20 cm) long(could be more) and sharp(the last photo shows how they looked like). Around that time there was a myth that women used these hat pins to kill their disloyal lovers. However, this myth has no proofs.

Here's what actually happened: women used them for self-defence against "mashers", or men who groped, harrassed, robbed or yelled at women. There is actually a documented case of such defence: case of Saddie Williams. You can read more about it here:

https://melmagazine.com/en-us/story/hatpin-panic-1900s

I think, that Isolde's hat pins are actually based on that accessory. She does, in fact, take them from her hair and she uses them as self-defence against entities in her ultimate. Of course, I'm talking about her in her «The Last Fluttering Beat» garment.

I also thought about this: in her garment display there is a pin, which pierces through two layers of frames(sorry, I couldn't think of a more suitable name) all the way to her neck. I'm nearly sure that there were cases, where these pins were used against women, who tried to defend themselves, since, even now, it happens(that's the reason why a loud alarm is the most efficient way to defend yourself) and I think that this pin I mentioned somewhat refers to it.

What are your thoughts?

P.s. I apologize if this post has any mistakes.

Angsty fic recs?

I want sth reeeaaally angsty. I wanna read a fic where Neil suffers and Andrew has to fight both his and Neil's demons. I don't want to read about Andrew getting in trouble, only Neil. I'm fine with mental health issues, just no DID, no transgenders and, if possible, no wips. Andreil, of course

As far as I'm aware, this is quite an angsty, explicit and cruel fic and I wanna read it. Here's a link if it would be of any help:

https://archiveofourown.org/works/14193093

This is work of RayreadsDestiel incomplete, all for the game, Andreil Here's summary: My EXTREMELY GRAPHIC take on what could have happened in the Baltimore house after Neil was reunited with his father.

I found it through a work, inspired by this one, called your name in the rain
