NorCal Rad Tech?

Im in Sacramento and want to pursue something in healthcare that can pay good. Im 29, I just support myself and will not have kids or mortgage.
I read radtechs can work 3 days a week with optional OT?
Sounds like a dream over typical 5 day 8-5 shift. Problem is, im basically starting over. I got my bachelors in teaching and have no “science” background.
I currently make more as a server so I don’t want to pursue the teaching route.
But I can’t be a server forevor. Program reccomendations? I have to take pre-reqs first, but Im willing to wait for a lottery system for a the associate? but is it really that hard to get into - like years?
Thank you.

Leave of absence credential program.

I finished 2 of 3 semesters at CalStateTeach. No issues, and I had great grades with the program. I was burnt out and broke so I decided to get a second job. I did not return for the fall semester. It’s been 2 1/2 years now. Am I SOL on returning?

I got my car fixed and was found 100% not liable.

Month later their insurance is leaving a voicemail every morning for them to gather info or a statement from me. Whats the point of this? My car is already fixed and done. She reverse backed into me in a parking lot.

What do you think? Wait longer?

16,000 saved total. California.
Not married. My credit score is 799 and his 620. Total gross we make combined 100k a year.

I doubt we could afford a standard house, but there are nice new manufactured 3 bedroom homes for 100k-180k. The mortgage is like 1,100 and lot rent 1000. Or this is a bad idea….
Most 2bed condos are at 400k area. We’ve been renting in an apartment at 2,300 for years.

I have a bachelors in education

I don’t want to be a teacher anymore working with the public.
Is this degree going to take more than 2 years? I want to work in a office setting.
My aunt runs a accounting business making bank so i’m interested in working with her or being guided by her to a good job if i did this degree.

Adding partner to policy

I have a car and my partner is an excluded driver on my policy currently. My partner does not have a car.
I want to finance a car for them because I have excellent credit, but they will be driving it daily. So add them to the policy as a primary driver?
Is this allowed?

Tipping In California (Servers)

The minimum wage is 16.50 for servers. That means if I have no tables in a 3 hour shift, I made 49.50 pre-tax.
This is where minimum wage helps.

If I make 100$ in tips in 5 hours,
I am not seeing a good chunk of that “16.50 hourly rate” due to taxes.
In this scenario, I’d leave with 100 in tips and my hourly rate reduced to about 11$ an hour.

Thats 155 for the day, or 31$ per hour, for a 5
hour shift. No, the chef or dishwasher isn’t getting tips, but they have higher wages, pay bumps, and longer hours. My job it is mandatory to tip out kitchen staff and bartenders.
If this is an extreme amount of money for a any kind of employee, then you should avoid tipped establishments. There are plenty of restaurants that don’t accept tips.

Should I finance a Corolla 2011 S?

It has 92,000 miles, and a clean carfax with good maintenance records.
Or should I just do a later year (2015-16) Camry for 3-4k more with a higher mileage?

[Tenant-US-CA] Application ID question for any APT office staff

I want my friend to move in but they only have a valid passport. Is this a valid form of ID for most apartment complexes?
Is it a problem not to have a ID or DL?

Help please

Parking lot fender. I was in the parking aisle moving forward looking for a spot.
The person reversing out of their parking spot reversed into me. I had to speed up to avoid them hidding my back passenger door. They ended up hitting the back of their bumper with my passenger corner bumper, nothing major but some scratches and a small dent.

However the person is saying I am at fault because I was driving fast. I was directly behind another car who was idling for their own spot in the isle. When that car parked I drove straight and she reversed into me. Mind you, i gunned it because she was about to hit me full force.

Also, my insurance agent said he “waived my deductible” And “that he doesn’t usually do that” Im confused. Is that a thing? Also, i got a email that says my deductible is 500 for my plan so im confused.

I reached out to the Security of the parking lot, should i reach out to insurance to contact them for footage?
