The Lyric is celebrating the career of actor/director Greta Gerwig Thursdays in August. This week’s film celebrates her directing with the massive pop culture hit “Barbie” starring Margot Robbie and the amazing Ryan Gosling as Ken. Two shows—one inside and one on the outdoor screen Thursday, August 20.

I've spent a lot of time looking at different Elvis wedding options. We'll have a small group of attendees (less than 10). We want a casual ceremony, so we were thinking of the Do Wop Diner option at Viva Las Vegas Weddings. I like the idea of a 50s vibe, and it would be fun to come up with our outfits.
Their Google review score is only 4.5 which gives me pause. Especially after reading this recent post:

Wellness Sushi had originally posted on their door and on Facebook that the Colfax location was 'closed temporarily' due to construction. They just replied to my FB comment asking when it would reopen, and replied that it's closed for good.
I have been eating there almost every time I'm in Denver since I'm usually going to The Denver Film Center. 😭
Apologies for yet another Elvis wedding post. I've actually spent quite a bit of time researching Elvis wedding options in Vegas, and it's a bit overwhelming.
I would be grateful for recent reviews/feedback (withing the past year) of fun Elvis weddings you've attended or been involved in.
We are NOT religious, so the 'chapels' seem a bit off (even though they do civil ceremonies). We're planning to be married on September 9th, so I'm not sure heat-wise if an outdoor wedding is an option. We've very budget-conscious.
Getting married by the 'Welcome to Vegas' sign seems like it would be fun if it's not too hot. Although, my friend was there about a month ago and said the traffic was super congested around the sign with many people jumping out of their cars for pictures.
NOTE: We're only interested in a male Elvis....one of the companies recommended here offers a female Elvis. We're as woke as they come, but aren't interested in that.
Just a few close friends attending, so we would like it to be fun for everyone.
