My city has a local pottery store where you come in and choose from a huge selection of ceramic pieces and paint them! I chosed this alien piggy bank piece back in late June and decided to use this Injury Episode's vinyl variant (3rd pic) for the colour palette.
I figured the alien matches the aesthetic of the band's branding, as well as matching the messaging of that specific vinyl since you technically can break open a piggy bank. I also wanted to simply dedicate it to the album, because I've been obsessed with it ever since it came out.
I'm very happy with how it turned out! ❤️🤍🧡

My birthday was yesterday and the wifey and our best friend went halfsies on this Deftones vinyl box set holding 2 LPs, which is the 20th Anniversary Edition of their White Pony album. One LP has the OG songs and the other LP has the remixes of each of them. I'm seriously in LOVE. I don't even have a record or vinyl player, but I always wanted to display one of their albums in my house. I never really want anything for my birthday lol, but this was a very very sick birthday gift!!
So I'm starting a full-time web developer job next Monday and my client wants nothing to do with maintaining the website. He also wants the website to get up and going as soon as possible and is also focused on good SEO. I have 5.5 years of software development experience using Ember.js and Vue.js, would it be easier if I went the headless route just so I can handle the front end with some JS framework like Next/Nuxt since I'm most familiar with frameworks? Or should I just invest in the time to learn and go full Shopify?

Hey guys, so I replaced this flapper with a new one. It's one of those old ones where it has the tilt actuator. I did the dye test and there's no leaks, but I'm running into the issue of the flapper staying up afrer flushing, and that's not ALL the time which is quite annoying. I've adjusted the chain multiple times and it seems to work out for the 1st few flushes, and then it will stay up after a minute since flushing. As seen in the video, I have to touch the lever again to get the flapper to go down. Is it really a chain issue? Is it the handle? Is it the hinges holding the flapper? I know the chain that connects the flapper isn't technically inserted all the way through, it's just wedged tightly in there so it definitely doesn't move unless you move it yourself.

I have an appointment booked at the dealership to have my tires swapped out to put on my summer tires on the 12th of May. My winter tires are also studded. Should I aim to swap them out earlier? I just know temperatures are getting warmer now and I'm aware it may wear out the tires by driving them in warmer weather. Thanks!
