Is it too much?

I feel like the hat and glasses are too much, but just the mask feels a little too plain, what would yall recommend?

I tried the tall beanie and the regular beanie
Tall beanie was too much.
The regular beanie didn’t have the right colors.

Longline hoodie, hood glitch?

So I’ve had the same fit for the better part of 7 years
I want to put the hood up, but I’m pretty sure they don’t function the same as regular hoodies, everytime I’ve tried to do it I just can’t, is there a glitch for this specific hoodie type to put the hood up on the mask ?
Bonus if anyone can figure out how to cover that weird spot where you can see my chest, shirts also just don’t work.

any software recommendations? (blue yeti nano)

im using the Blue yeti nano, yeah ik some of yall are gonna hate on it, but its not a bad mic and has done me good for almost 10 years now.

But im not alone in my bedroom anymore, there are a lot of times that im with my girlfriend in the same room maybe 6ft away, and we're in the same discord call, that causes an echo on my end where they can hear here, but not hear well enough that we can use just my mic for both of us.

using the discord suppression is weird, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt, same with the G-hub software, its just not good tbh, it might be something with this mic, bc the software is so much newer then the mic itself.

But is there any software that y'all have used either with this mic or with another sensitive condenser mic to help with that or is it genuinely just a hardware limitation.

I have to make the post here because r/soldering keeps taking it down for some reason

So last night I made a post about my PS5 controller and I got a lot of comments some of them negative some of them nice but mostly they were helpful, when I replied to a comment saying that its better than it looks, it got downvoted to high Hell, but I feel like what I said was true, especially after getting the flux off it looks alright I feel like, so here’s what I did new

I just started by completely wiping off the flux. I had to get a toothbrush and clip the bristles slightly shorter so that it would be more abrasive, and then I got the iso put it on a sponge and then rung it out over the board so the iso could sit on it and marinate for a sec, then wiped it off, came off almost perfect,

Because that’s gone, you can see that it doesn’t look like there are any scorch marks or scratches on the board so I don’t think I ruined any contacts or traces or anything

Yeah ha ha I’m stupid because I didn’t think about melting the contact point so it can form an alloy with the solder, well I fixed that, made little Hershey kisses like a few videos said, and yes I let the iron rest on the contact itself before applying solder so they both heat up.

If you want or need to see the first attempt, I can either post the video or the link to it in the comments, but it should be like the third post on this subreddit

I asked this question in my initial post. I don’t think I got any replies, but what about those solder points that aren’t throughput holes, there are two sets of two and one of them is in the middle of where the joystick is (the main area), and one kind of down into the left a little bit of that same area, and it looks like I only touched one of each. I think they should be fine cause it looks like they’re still covering whatever contact is supposed to be there, I never removed the solder off of that point so I wouldn’t exactly be worried about it not being melted together.

But generally what’s the consensus, do I need to redo some of them, how many of y’all think it’s ready to be put back together, and please be nice lol but honest

Want to make sure ps5 controller is all good before putting the battery back in

(Yes I know about the flux and the melted plastic I think the plastic is fine and partly asking about the flux)

So I had to replace my analog stick in my controller, buying the parts off Amazon was cheaper then paying for it to be done or buying a tpm or Hall effect controller.

It took me way to long getting the stick off, and like 30 mins putting the new one on, I could definitely touch up the solder points if needed, I would very much like to be done with it tho so I’m not super worried about cosmetic issues.

I think I touched some points that weren’t needed and I mostly fixed it, are those alright ? They are to the left of where the stick is.

Do y’all think this is safe to put back together or should I touch it up, will it touch something else ?

And about the flux what is the issue, I cant seem to clean it off, I might have used too much and not cleaned it as often as I should have, or maybe I used too much heat but it felt like it wasn’t melting the solder, so generally what is the best way to clean off dried flux like that, I tied iso but didn’t seem to help too much, same with a toothbrush, the only thing that worked was getting something thin and picking it off like a weird scab.

Lots of possible lost media found ? [unreleased media]

So the other day, I was watching moist critical video on the whole bounty he has on his old videos, and in that video it was mainly about another video that was talking about lost media and a way to recover it regarding the browser Cash not being cleared.

I was on the phone with my uncle today who was and still is a big computer nerd, especially in the early 2000s-2010s, and he was talking about how he had a bunch of games from a defunct Kellogg’s website and two others, and then that reminded me of the video so I explained what I heard, and I asked him if he happen to have any old computers or hard drives that he just hasn’t touched in years that might have flash games or YouTube viseos and he just casually said that he has a couple gigabytes of CDs full of old YouTube videos, and flash games.

I don’t know what’s on them or what it could be, what should be the next step if I wanted to see if it could be something worth preserving.

TeaTV and OnStream not loading specific episodes?

For some reason the two newest episodes of Rick and Morty just aren’t finding servers for tea tv and flat out aren’t there for onstream. the newest one makes sense but ep3 has been like this all week. And ep2 works just fine.

Looking to trade my gold water and earth

The best I have is gold water and gold earth, really looking for anything I don’t have, but preferably something higher tier so I can trade that with other people to get the rest.

(Edit 1: I now have the gummy fire and regular bp)
