I have been finishing up my garage drywall and getting on and off the ladder and everything is taking longer to do and it’s been more exhausting than the rest of the garage work.

Is there any cheap/affordable alternatives for doing mudding and taping the ceiling?
I tried searching a tutorial on this on YouTube, google but nothing wasa there for this specific case, I tried to pull it out normally, didn’t work, tried to use a screwdriver in between the lock and pull harder and ended up pulling more of the actual door than the actual lock assembly, even tried wd-40 too
I’m not sure what to do to get this piece out, any advice?
