A week binge free with Reta

Im so so so happy that I chose to start reta.
First week, I felt nothing (0.5mg) then the second week I bumped it up to 1.2mg and wow.

My mind has never been so calm. I pretty much don’t have words for how relieved I feel.
I know it’s probably not right to glamorise GLP’s but I’ve just never felt like this in my life.

If you’re struggling with BED and you were already thinking of trying Reta… all I can say is do it.

What was 1 thing that made you realise that you weren’t experiencing placebo ?

What was something that gave you confirmation that you were 100% feeling the effects of reta ?

Mine was when I got a chocolate bar as a present and I put it at the back of the fridge and only remembered it existed 3 days later

back in my Binge ED days that thing would’ve ran around my mind 24/7 and eventually ended up in my belly sooner rather than later

anyone getting bad dreams?

ive only been on reta a week at 0.5mg and haven't faced many side effects besides waking up at 3am with my heart pounding after a nightmare 😭

this has happened the past 3 nights

its not too bad - I can get straight to sleep after, but just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this?

(I haven't experienced any appetite suppression yet, but im getting really hot randomly and sweating more than usual)

Done a week on .5mg feel nothing, im gonna jump to 1.5mg tomorrow (RETA)

I need super strong appetite suppression and I feel like I’ve just injected water.
I’m 5’7/170cm
Female
77kg
Looking to be 57kg (-20kg)
Have a binge eating disorder
= I need a higher dose
Is this a shit idea?
Should I keep it at .5mg or only go up to 1mg
Honestly if I get side effects, I get side effects. I’m not too bothered with that I can just titrate down again.
Has anyone had experience with this?
Part of me also just wants to know if my reta works

What does the appetite suppression feel like

This seems like a super stupid question I know. But does the appetite suppression on reta feel like there’s a little voice saying “no we don’t need any more food” and physically feeling fuller, or is it more the nauseous feeling you get that puts you off food? Or all of those things? I know it’s also true that everyone feels the effects of reta differently.
I guess I just want someone to explain what it feels like exactly for them. I’m hoping reta will help with my binge eating disorder. Stopping when I’m “full” is pretty foreign to me

I can’t wait till this is all over and I can love myself again

Guys😭😭😭 I can’t wait until the 18th of June comes and I can just lie down and smile knowing I don’t have to do any of this ever again. I feel like I’ve lost myself. Haven’t had a proper laugh all year my friends are all stressed and under pressure - finally I’ve nearly made it. I broke up with my ex in September and I’ve been alone for all of 6th year. Its been horrible and I’ve nearly made it

Do you get accepted into NUIG if you fail maths?

My course is Film so it doesn’t have maths in the entry requirements. So I know I wouldn’t be blocked from the course but would I be allowed to attend the college if I failed maths

Is anyone only starting study today?

I need about 450 points and I’m only starting study today and I’m honestly not stressed about it at all. My biggest worries are geography and biology.

How much have you guys lost?

How much weight have you guys lost doing ADF? In a month, two months, 10 - whatever. I’d love to hear to get an idea of how it’s worked for other people

Eating every second day

Thinking of doing this 👆. Eating what I want and then fasting for 24hrs. I’ll be getting the right nutrients in and also won’t be binging. Does anyone have any advice or tips?

Been seeing walking pads that are cheaper like around €30 online and I’d love to get one. Is it worth it to get a cheaper one of that price or are they any good?
