I used to be self conscious, and was constantly down on myself because the version of me that I was, I would struggle to love. I always felt empty, like there was something missing. People would see me, and I was felt ashamed, because I couldn’t see them eye to eye. You know because of the sun. I decided that I needed to get myself together and make a change. It took seconds of dedicated effort and recovery, but once I made the necessary change, I felt free. This is a new life and I’m excited to live it

Denied from a bar for a “fake ID”…as a 28 year old

I was denied entrance to a bar last night because the bouncer inspected my *very real* ID and said “that is not your birthday” and that he thought it was a fake. I’m 28 years old and married. (he also wanted me to prove my age by showing my personal information in Apple ID setting on my phone).

*I have a state issued “REAL ID” drivers license. for people not from the states, a “real ID” is a federally standardized ID that meets strict security standards. You need one (or a passport) to fly domestically within the states.
