These guys do not care about the customer’s experience.

They said they’d release RD16 tickets at the end of the Colombia game last night. The game ended and then they posted they’d release tickets at midnight.

We stayed up for it.. kept refreshing every few seconds until 12:30am when it suddenly said “tickets were sold out”. So it went from not being released to immediately being sold out.

They’re either being hammered by bots, or lying about releasing tickets, because there’s no way that they got sold out in less than 5 seconds.

Truly shitty experience.

Does anyone know how to get in to see a match if its only 2 of us? Reservations seem to be only for groups of 4+.

Is it legal and/or normal to make the amenities fee obligatory? Most places that I’ve seen that charge an amenity fee is always optional but I saw a place last week where they said it was obligatory which seems odd.
Why separate it from the rent if you’re going to make people pay for it anyway?

Looking to hire a realtor who knows the area well. Any recommendations?!

My neighbor (let’s call them P) has lived in Greenpoint most of their life. P is 80 something, lives in a rent stabilized unit, and needs help.

P told me their landlord ignores their calls any time they try to get in touch about something.

Ps apartment is in terrible conditions.. the floor boards are dented, there are holes on the walls, there are mice in there, it hasn’t been painted in 20 years, etc.

P doesn’t want to file any complaints because they worry their landlord will retaliate.

What’s the best way to help P? I don’t want to cause any unnecessary stress for them or their one other neighbor, but I’m genuinely concerned about the state of P’s place and annoyed at their horrible landlord.

P is in good health (mentally and physically).
