Como o título diz, sou um iniciante na leitura, escolhi Duna para ler, é um livro denso, cheio de conteúdos e coisas para lembrar, mas é um livro legal. Isso tem me incomodado um pouco, não gosto de ter que voltar páginas pra ver algo já lido, isso sem tirar a parte de não lembrar dessas coisas, muita das vezes não são detalhes essenciais, mas que me deixam curioso se não lembrar. Isso é chato pra mim, e desanimador, gostaria de sentir prazer lendo, lembrar do que li. É um hobby que acho tão incrível, a leitura, mas eu não consigo me sentir do jeito que queria. Alguém tem algum conselho ou dica?

Daqui a algumas horas começará os descontos do 8.8, realmente compensa comprar livros nessas épocas? Não sei muito bem. Existem outras épocas que compensam mais?

Sou novo na leitura, então não domino vocabulários complexos. Decidi ler Duna como sendo um dos meus primeiros livros que estou disposto a ler inteiro. Percebi que no começo da leitura já era complexo, tem coisas que o livro deixa implícito, palavras incomuns. Não gosto de ficar "pausando" minha leitura. Alguém tem um jeito de me ajudar? Não quero abandonar um livro incrível desse por não ter capacidade de ler ele de forma prazerosa.

I already know and enjoy automation/factory games like Factorio or Satisfactory, but right now I’m looking for a different type of simulator — more focused on personal/business progression, routine, management, upgrading, making money, and building something from nothing.

What I’m looking for now:

Start from nothing and grow over time

Lots of upgrades and visible progression

Running a business / managing systems / making money

Addictive gameplay loop

Plenty of content and replayability

Something I can sink 500+ hours into

What I’m NOT looking for right now:

Pure factory/logistics games like Factorio/Satisfactory

Very shallow simulator games with only a few hours of content

Basically, I want that “grind and grow” feeling, but in a more personal/business/life simulator style.
