What do you reckon the tuning limit is on X3/4/5/6’s 2019+ with the B58 guys ? From what I researched , horse power is not the biggest issue, but the torque the drivetrain/diff/etc can handle. So when I ask about limit, I mean the limit where is still safe so you don’t have a high risk of Fckin up your drivetrain/diff

Anyone tuned their X6 40i ? 2019-2023 ?
I’m thinking about going for downpipe , mid pipe , intercooler , upgraded turbo , gearbox tuning , getting it somewhere around 600hp.
Probably that’s the limit where it would still be reliable, but I couldn’t find many , been looking on forums/youtube/etc.

Hi everyone, yesterday after driving normally, I parked the car ( X6 40i 2019 oct)for about an hour. When I came back and started it, I got a drivetrain malfunction warning. The warning disappeared after around 5 seconds and the car has driven completely normally since.
No limp mode, no rough idle, no misfires, no power loss, and the car starts perfectly every time.
I scanned the car myself using BimmerLink and found a lot of stored faults related to:
undervoltage
battery startability limit
power management
FlexRay/Ethernet communication faults
subnet shutdowns
starter communication faults
parking/radar module communication errors
The main codes that stood out were:
030E08 – Battery falls below upper startability limit
801703 – HVAC undervoltage detected
030E43 – Battery status detection: closed-circuit current violation
Battery is possibly original from 2019.
Has anyone had a similar issue on a G05/G06/X5/X6 platform?
Trying to figure out whether I should just replace the battery first and clear codes, or whether this points to something more serious.
