I 3D printed some toppers for my bases however I was wondering if it's better to glue the plastic models to the resin now before I start painting or paint the models and toppers separately and then glue them together? Will there be an issue with adhesion?

I used a resin printer, and it's for warhammed bases and models. I'd prefer to glue them now and paint later, but while this is a stupid question, I'd rather not make a mistake with dozens of models at this stage when I could just ask the stupid question. Any help would be appreciated!

I got the Tau combat patrol because I wanted another army but I have no idea where to go from here. Any recommendations or particular models to start collecting?

As the title says, I'm most definitely new to warhammer and don't know much about tau other than some lore.

I really wanted a ranged army but honestly I'd love to know the different play styles you have available. Any help at all would be appreciated! I'd love to know what kits are most recommended as all I know for now is that I should probably buy a second combat patrol.

I'm new to OPR and I'm trying to make an army for my father who was a huge Halo fan. I intend to print some Spartans and marines however what army would fit that sort of scheme? I really want to surprise him with it however I've got no clue on army matching.

With the new edition out I'm looking to get some transports for my crusade however what's the major differences between land raiders and impulsors for black templars? Any reason to pick one over the other?

I'm planning on kitbashing an Execrator however I was wondering what was the biggest differences between them and chaplains? Both model and lore wise.

I know that Chaplains have more robes and a hood over their heads, but is that really the only difference? What do I need the kit bashed model to have to REALLY make it say that it's different from the other? I also admittedly know little on the lore of execrators, so any lore dumping would be greatly appreciated!

I'm getting the saturnine Box and I was wondering what our chapter's rules are when it comes to repurposeing old tech such as saturnine armor or perhaps older Marks of armor? Even recovering it from slain heretics?

A skit had me thinking about this since I've seen some of us use old sets of armor, and I'm wondering if, if lore wise, it makes sense of us to strip gear from relics or even strip it from heretics and use it ourselves? Of course, we wouldn't use anything covered in the cursed marks of chaos, right? But what are the limits and cut-offs of there are any?

(Not my art and I apologize I could not find the artist's name.)

What are some good or popular models that make for great kitbashes when it comes to black templars in your opinions?

I, of course, know there's quite a few phobos witch boys who become lieutenants and Urkhan is a kitbash I've seen a few times and I've even seen death guard marines being kitbashed and honestly I know not everyone posts their creations so I'd love to hear more (and totally not steal and use your ideas for my own army lol) about your kitbashing!

Are there any differences between our chaplains and other chapter's chaplains considering our zeal and faith in the god emperor?

How important are vehicles to most army lists? Of course Repulsor and Impulsor however is there any vehicles that you think could shine in our colors? Or ones that you think may simply look good in it?

Which enemy faction is our Chapter's greatest foil? Traitor? Xenos? I know we've been fighting the orc scourge but I'm far more curious on my brother's opinions on who would spark more of a contrast and interesting interactions in lore or gameplay.

I read Helsreach and noticed how some pilots were permitted by a Marshall to fly our cross after serving with those templars and I was wondering what that meant in terms of mixing models in-game? Painting guardsmen or tanks with our crosses or even our color scheme?

How necessary is Helbrecht for most armies? I'm reluctant to add him into my army (still making my first) and I've found his model and character in lore uncompelling and at this point would only use him for his stats.

I'm reusing a lot of parts from a warhammer fantasy model and I'd add a powerpack too it however the issue is the model has a shield across its back as well as a large cape. How much of a mortal sin is it to not have a powerpack on a space marine kitbash?

When you hollow a print when/do you add internal supports?

I've been trying to make a print work. However, I've not found any video or clear advice on when you support hollowed prints. I've heard some just add auto supports and then hollow the print, but some also say that doesn't work. I'm by no means an expert in resin printing and especially in supports but I've been trying to do a large project involving four large pieces that practically take up the whole build place with each individual piece. I'm just wondering on if it's necessary at all to add supports internally or if it's something that's not that important

I may have made a mistake. I have been making my first army and just realized that certain armies required certain weapons WYSIWYG rule and I mainly just made my templars use the weapons I'd thought were cool. How horrible of a mistake was this?

To explain better, I'm mainly talking about how most of my sergeant units have powerswords or powerhammers instead of power fists and a few mistakes like that. While I'm most certainly not going to try and become the number one templar player I did wish to play occasionally and I'm wondering if I need to just buy or print entire new sets just so my army can be usable in the upcoming meta with the new edition coming out. I know some people magnetize things. However, I'd rather not butcher the models I have now to do so. How horrible of a mistake is it, too, not choose the most optimal weapons?
