I stopped checking QC photos after delivery and just started wearing everything best decision I made

A few weeks into wearing this haul and my favorites are completely different from what I expected when I ordered.

The pieces I thought would be carrying the rotation were the Supreme and Burberry items, but the real winners have been the Stone Island piece, AMI shirt and Polo tee. They're the kind of items that work on busy days when I don't feel like planning an outfit.

The Chrome Hearts long sleeve has also been getting a lot of wear lately, especially during cooler evenings. On the shorts side, the Eric Emanuel pair has probably seen the most use, followed closely by the Balenciaga shorts.

One thing I appreciate about this haul is that it feels balanced. There are statement pieces when I want them, but most of the items are genuinely wearable and easy to mix together.

No crazy hype, just a haul that actually gets worn.

Biggest Surprise: The AMI shirt. It wasn't even in my top 5 when I ordered, but it's probably the item I've worn the most.

The best piece in this haul wasn't the most expensive one — it was the one I kept reaching for

I thought the hoodie would be the best item in the haul. Three weeks later, it's not even in my top three.

Did anyone else hit their 30s and suddenly find washing the car therapeutic?

if you told my 20-year-old self i’d be spending sundays obsessing over a clean garage layout, i would’ve laughed. aging changes you lol.

lately my main way to disconnect from work stress is turning on a podcast and spraying the truck. used to go months without a wash, but now it’s just my weekend dopamine reset. finally sorted the cluttered utility corner yesterday—threw away the cracked home depot buckets and lined up the chemical guys soaps next to that giraffe tools wall washer.

my wife thinks i'm losing my mind standing out there for an hour blasting trail mud off the tires, but honestly the peace is worth it.

what's your current expensive old-man hobby?

Thinking of getting the Viture Beast prescription lenses from Vr-rock any opinions?

Hello! So I've been doing some research on the different lenses I could get for the Viture Beast and was wondering your thoughts on Vr-rock?

I've been wanting lenses for them for a little bit and Vr-rock seems the best option for my price range since they're fairly low cost (since I kinda splurged on the beast, hehe).

They seem to also rimless metal frames which is 100% what I need for reference.

I also live in Australia.... so yeah... shipping costs... LUCKILY. I checked and they don't have them, so I'm safe there AT LEAST.

...But yeah... any experiences with Vr-rock? Good or bad? Cause they look like the best option to me so far so tell me they're good and i'll buy them rn.

The habit that saved me the most wasted months: interrogating the idea before writing any code

My most expensive mistakes as a founder were never bad execution. they were building something nobody wanted, quickly and cleanly. the idea was wrong, and i didn't find out until two to three weeks in.

what changed it for me was forcing one step before any building: shaping the idea until it can survive questions. who is this for specifically, what's the one job it has to nail, what am i assuming that i haven't actually checked. i used to skip it because i was impatient to see something on screen.

Lately i've been doing that step with an agent called Brainstorm. you give it a rough idea and it doesn't just agree or hand you a feature list, it keeps asking the inconvenient questions until the thing is actually shaped. the last idea i ran through it was a "remind me to follow up with people" tool, and it pushed me on whether the real value was the reminder or the drafted message. that turned out to be the whole product decision i'd been avoiding.

it's on Boids if you want to poke at it: https://boids.so/?utm\_source=reddit\_post

the bigger question for this crowd though: how do you decide an idea is worth building before you put the weeks in? what's your actual filter?

disclosure: i work on Boids.

My Fendi tote bag 🥹

I recently received this Fendi tote bag and I’ve been meaning to sit down and write a proper review because it honestly deserves it. From the moment I unboxed it, it had that immediate “put together” feel the kind of piece that doesn’t need effort to look good.

The overall construction feels very well done. The material has a structured yet slightly relaxed feel, which makes it practical for daily use without losing that polished look. It doesn’t feel overly stiff or cheap in any way, and the shape holds nicely even after being carried around for a bit.

What I personally loved is how easy it is to style. It has that understated luxury vibe not loud, but still noticeable in a very refined way. I’ve paired it with both casual outfits and more dressed-up looks, and it just works without trying too hard.

The stitching and finishing are clean overall. If I really look closely, there are tiny imperfections here and there, but nothing that stands out or affects the overall look. It still gives a very high-quality impression, especially in everyday use.

The hardware feels solid and has a nice weight to it, which adds to that premium feel. It doesn’t feel flimsy or overly shiny, which I always pay attention to.

Shipping experience was smooth and everything arrived well packaged.

Overall, I’m genuinely happy with this purchase. It has that effortless, elevated look that fits seamlessly into my wardrobe, and it doesn’t feel like something I have to be careful with all the time which, for me, makes it even better.

Mixture-of-agents in practice: fan one prompt across a panel, then judge vs synthesize — what's actually worked for me

Been treating "more intelligence" as a prompt-orchestration problem instead of a model-choice problem. The pattern: take one prompt, run it across 2–3 different models in parallel, then resolve their answers two ways depending on the task.

best_of_n: a judge model reads all the candidates and returns the single strongest one verbatim. Good when one model is likely fully right (code, factual Q&A) and you want a clean real answer, not a blend.

synthesize (mixture-of-agents): an aggregator model fuses the candidates into one new answer. Better for research / analysis / long-form where the models are complementary and merging beats any single take.

What surprised me is that a panel of cheaper models with a judge often clears the bar I'd otherwise pay a top-tier model for — the disagreement between models turns out to be signal you can harvest. It isn't free though: you pay for every model in the panel plus the judge, so I only fan out on the hard prompts and keep the easy ones on a single cheap model.

I wired this into an OpenAI-compatible gateway (OrcaRouter) where the orchestration is just a YAML ruleset, so I'm not hand-coding the fan-out each time. Core is MIT/self-hostable if you want to poke at it: https://github.com/Continuum-AI-Corp/OrcaRouter-Lite — more context at https://www.orcarouter.ai/?utm\_source=reddit&utm\_medium=social&utm\_campaign=fusion\_dsl

Disclosure: I work on that gateway, but the panel/judge/synthesize pattern works with plain API calls too. Anyone compared best_of_n vs synthesize on their own tasks — which won?

Completely Fell for This Power Pink Color 💗

Factory: God Factory

Seller: Reykey (number ending with 6327)

Price: $409 + shipping

Payment: Wise

Shipping: EMS to Russia

Timeline

• May 23 – Ordered

• May 28 – Received PSPs

• May 29 – Shipped

• June 16 – Delivered

I've always been drawn to pink bags, but this particular shade immediately caught my attention. The Power Pink color is soft, feminine, and surprisingly easy to style. After receiving it, I can honestly say it looks even better in person than it did in the photos.

The overall craftsmanship impressed me right away. The stitching is neat and consistent throughout, the quilting has a nice shape without being overly puffy, and the light gold hardware complements the pink leather beautifully. One detail I really appreciated was how crisp the logo and charm details looked. The handle also stands upright nicely, which gives the bag that structured look I was hoping for.

The suede-lined interior feels luxurious, and having both a shorter and longer strap makes it much more versatile for everyday wear. I've already used it both handheld and crossbody, and it works well either way.

I purchased this through Reykey (number ending with 6327). Communication was straightforward, PSPs were provided before shipment, and the package arrived safely through EMS. The entire process felt smooth and well organized from start to finish.

Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. The color was what originally sold me, but the quality and details are what made me love it even more once it arrived.
